He has collaborated numerous times with the likes of Talib Kweli or Little Brother (remember Wängl 2008?) and many fellow Boston rappers. H recently formed a hip hop collective named The Perceptionists with Mr. Lif and DJ Fakts One.

Artist Wängl 2011: Mr. Lif

Mr. Lif is a hip hop artist from Boston. Often noted for his political lyrics, he has released two studio albums on El-P's Definitive Jux label and one on Bloodbot Tactical Enterprises. Mr. Lif is also a member of the hip hop group The Perceptionists with long-time friends and collaborators Akrobatik and DJ Fakts One.

Mr. Lif released his first single, Elektro, in 1998, attracting the attention of labels Grand Royal and Definitive Jux. Working closely with producer and Definitive Jux label head El-P, Lif released a series of critically acclaimed singles and Eps. In 2001 he won the Kahlua Boston Music Awards for Outstanding Rap/Hip Hop Act.

Feux - superfresh producer and DJ from Austria. After releasing his frist project “21 & Ghost” with another austrian producer Daelectronic and rapper Nebz Supreme (L.A./California) in January 2008, he is now working on remixes, some loose tracks with different artists and his solo project. In 2009 his latest project called “Mastaplan” with Mr Mirac dropped via Duzz Down San Records. To us shredders Feux is best known from his musical contributions to various Ästhetiker Videos like „Ämotions“and as a DJ at our parties.

linz/austria-based dj and producer abby lee tee (aka dj abillity) is best-known for being a member of the rap-group "hinterland" and releasing mixtapes with his partner in crime "dj hooray". rooted in hip hop, jazz, funk & soul, his current dj-sets and productions are influenced by all kinds of electronic music too - some people would call it "wonky" or "glitch hop". since releasing his first solo-ep/beattape in 2009 he`s getting busy with remixes for artists like "pixelord" and "swede:art" as well as collaborations with guys like "feux" and "kalifornia kurt", or running the blog "hillbillysoul.blogspot.com". furthermore he`s (co-) organising parties with recent guests like gilles peterson, nosaj thing, fLako, robot koch, comfort fit, mike slott, fulgeance, débruit, swede:art, paul pre and more. The founding year of the Ästhetiker in 1993 might be the reason why the crew is strongly attached to HipHop. A partnership with two fresh music festivals brings the sounds of Linz and Vienna to the Zillertal. RUN VIE presents an audiovisual trip named ‘Cosmic Wars’ by DJ Buzz, accompanied live by the Waxolutionists Band, Chrisfader, The Clonius and the internationally celebrated Dorian Concept. On Wednesday is YES WE JAM night with some creative HipHop from The Hillbilly Souldiers (Hinterland, Die Au) and Da Staummtisch. In between the so-called Producer-Showcase with the beat masters Flip (Texta), Feux and Abby Lee Tee are playing selected pieces from their archives. A HipHop Karaoke session will take place in the late hours of the night promising laughter till the end.
The final night makes the long anticipated return of Texta to Mayrhofen happening! Even in the galore-deluxe version, as Texta will be playing together with the S.K. Invitational Big Band consisting of 16 world-class musicians delivering an unforgettable show.
