Wieder einmal sind alle Augen auf den Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen gerichtet!
Am 22. und 23. Februar 2014 steht hier das Finale der Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards auf der Tagesordnung. Im offenen Slopestyle Contest geht es für Kids, Mädels, Amateure und Pros nicht nur um die Podiumsplätze des letzten Tourstops. Alle wollen natürlich auch nach der heiß begehrten Krone greifen. Mit den Ergebnissen des letzten Tourstops stehen schließlich auch die Gesamttoursieger fest und am Ende des Tages werden ein King, eine Queen und ein Prince of the VÄLLEY 2014 gekrönt. Im Anschluss steigt die große VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Crowning Party im Scotland Yard Pub in Mayrhofen. Am Sonntag stehen die Ästhetiker allen motivierten Shreddern bei kostenlosen Snowboard Pro Coaching Sessions im Vans Penken Park zur Seite. Die Anmeldung für Contest und Coaching ist ab sofort auf www.valleyralley.at freigeschaltet. Die Teilnahme ist begrenzt, first come, first ride! Die Registrierung schließt spätestens am Donnerstag, 20. Februar 2014 um 18.00 Uhr. Danach ist keine Anmeldung mehr möglich.
Wer wird es werden? Der King, die Queen und der Prince of the VÄLLEY?
Nach drei vorausgegangen Events am Hintertuxer Gletscher, im Betterpark Hochzillertal und in der Zillertal Arena hält nun der finale Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstop am 22. und 23. Februar Einzug im Vans Penken Park Mayrhofen. Der offene Snowboard Slopestyle Contest und die Snowboard Pro Coaching Sessions sind für jeden zugänglich, der sich bis spätestens Donnerstag vor dem Event online registriert hat. In den jeweiligen Kategorien Groms, Mädels und Männer winken allen Tagessiegern neben Preisgeld auch lukrative Preise von Ride Snowboards, Leatherman und Hotzone.tv. Jeder Starter sammelt Punkte im World Snowboard Tour Ranking und alle Teilnehmer vervollständigen mit dem letzten Ergebnis ihren Punktestand im Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Ranking 2014.
Die Gesamttoursieger der jeweiligen Kategorien werden anschließend feierlich auf der Grillhof Alm zum Prince, zur Queen und zum King of the VÄLLEY gekrönt. Alle drei Gewinner bekommen einen garantierten Startplatz für die N.ASA Shred Down Austrian Masters Slopestyle. Der beste Overall Grom gewinnt zusätzlich eine Wildcard für die World Rookie Finals.

Mayrhofen´s legit snowpark will be the stage of the Final Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards Tour-stop on February 22nd and 23rd 2014. Groms/kids, girls and men will be riding hard to earn a standing spot on the podium at the Open Slopestyle Contest on Saturday. Everyone will be going for the highly coveted crown. With the results of this final tour-stop, the overall tour winners will be determined. At the end of the day, a king, queen and a prince of the VÄLLEY will be crowned. We will continue celebrating the great VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Crowning Party at the Scotland Yard Pub in Mayrhofen on Saturday evening, so don’t miss out. Who will be the King, the Queen and the Prince of the VÄLLEY?
After the first three events which started at the Hintertux Glacier, then the Betterpark Hochzillertal and Zillertal Arena, the Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen will be the host of the final Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour-stop on February 22nd and 23rd 2014. Everyone is welcome to get involved into the Open Snowboard Slopestyle Contest and the Snowboard Pro Coaching Sessions. Just sign up online at www.valleyralley.at. Once again, the deadline for registration is Thursday the 20th of February. Groms/kids, girls and men can stack-up prize money and goods from Ride Snowboards, Leatherman and Hotzone.tv. Each rider competing collects points for the World Snowboard Tour Ranking and with the last result from Mayrhofen added in, the final Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Ranking will be confirmed.
The Overall Tour Winners of each category will be solemnly crowned Prince, Queen and King of the VÄLLEY at the Grillhof Alm after the competition. All three Overall Champions will be honored with one of the highly coveted starting spots in the National Championships N.ASA Shred Down Austrian Masters Slopestyle. The Overall Kids/Groms Champion also wins a starting spot for the World Rookie Finals. During the freebie Snowboard Pro Coaching Sessions on Sunday, the focus will be on improving style and learning new tricks with encouragement from the Ästhetiker crew. Der 3. Mini-Slopestyle Contest für junge Snowboarder und Freeskier im Boardes Playground in Westendorf. Auf diesem speziell für diese Altersgruppe installierten Mini-Slopestyle Kurs, können Kinder und Jugendliche bis 16 Jahren ihr Talent und Ihre Freestyle-Skillz unter Beweis stellen. Das Motto lautet mitmachen, Spaß haben, Contestluft schnuppern. Der Contest gilt als offizieller Austria-Cup Tourstop, wobei man erste Punkte für das World-Rookie-Tour Ranking sammeln kann.
Die besten Boarder und Freeskier gewinnen wie immer eine coole Trophäen von BP Projects und tolle Sachpreise der Sponsoren. Der beste Snowboarder kann sich ausserdem eine Wildcard für die Shred Down Austrian Masters (österr.Meisterschaften - Slopestyle) sichern, welche vom 07.- 08.03.2014 im Boarders Playground auf der PRO LINE ausgetragen werden!
Der Contest gilt auch als die Clubmeisterschaft des Westendorfer Actionsportclubs Freestylas.

Event Bericht: 3. Tourstop 25.-26. Januar 2014 Zillertal Arena
Am 25. und 26. Januar 2014 gastierte die Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards mit dem dritten Tourstop im Actionpark Kreuzwiese in der Zillertal Arena. Knapp sechzig Contest Teilnehmer aus ganz Europa gingen am Samstag beim offenen Slopestyle Contest an den Start. Jan Rovensky aus Tschechien stand bei den Rookies ganz auf dem Treppchen, während sich die Deutsche Martina Zollner bei den Mädels den Sieg holte und Toms Petrusevics aus Lettland in der Men´s Kategorie gewann. Den Best Trick Award ging an den Engländer Simon Cudlip und der österreichische Nachwuchs Shredder Nico Winkler wurde zum „Super Grom of the Day“ ernannt. Über dreißig Coaching Teilnehmer ließen sich am Sonntag nicht von den Neuschneemengen abschrecken. Gemeinsam mit ihren Coaches hatten sie jede Menge Spass im Park und im Powder in der Zillertal Arena.
Mit dem 3. Tourstop der Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted bei Ride Snowboards fand am 25. und 26. Januar 2014 erstmals ein Snowboard Wettbewerb in der Zillertal Arena statt. Manfred Brandacher und das Team von Uniqueparks.com hatten für ein feines Setup im Actionpark an der Kreuzwiese gesorgt. Im offenen Slopestyle Contest hagelte es anspruchsvolle Tricks von allen Seiten.
Bei den Groms holte sich der Tscheche Jan Rovensky die Goldmedaille. Zweiter wurde Florian Wörndl aus Österreich. Der Deutsche Max Grünwald schaffte es als dritter auf das U16 Podium, womit er auch die Führung im Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamttourranking seiner Kategorie halten kann. Den Award für den „Super Grom of the Day“ verliehen die Ästhetiker an Nico Winkler. Bei den Mädels siegte Martina Zollner und übernimmt damit auch die Führung im VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamttourranking. Auf Platz Zwei und Drei landeten die Zillertalerin Eva Gruber und Agnieszka Rusin aus Polen. Bei den Männern dominierten mit dem Tagessieger Toms Petrusevics und Zweitplatziertem Arturs Cukunde zwei Snowboarder aus Lettland das Podium. Dritter wurde der Zillertaler Local Alexander Walch, der mit diesem Ergebnis die alleinige Führung im VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamttour Ranking übernimmt. Simon Cudlip gewann den Best Trick Award mit einem stylischen Cab 450 boardslide 270 out. Alle Platzierten fuhren mit wertvollen Sachpreisen von Ride Snowboards, Preisgeld und Einkaufsgutscheinen von HOTZONE.TV nach Hause. Der neue Partner der Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY, Leatherman, spendierte dem Groms Sieger und dem Best Trick Gewinner jeweils ein Leatherman Snowboard Tool.
Starke Schneefälle hielten die motivierten Coaching Teilnehmer am Sonntag nicht davon ab, gemeinsam mit den Ästhetikern die frischen Neuschneehänge der Zillertal Arena zu erkunden. Steve Gruber, Klaus Hofmeister und Chris Kröll standen ihren Schützlingen anschließend im Actionpark an der Kreuzwiese mit den neusten Tipps und Tricks zur Seite.
MIt ihrer Teilnahme in der Zillertal Arena verbuchen alle Starter Punkte auf ihrem individuellen VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Konto und im World Snowboard Tour Ranking. Und weiter geht´s mit der Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards! Am 25. und 26. Jänner 2014 gastiert der dritte Tourstop im Actionpark Kreuzwiese in der Zillertal Arena. Als neuer Partner ist Leatherman mit an Board und bringt coole Multitools und Preise in den Actionpark Kreuzwiese. Der Samstag steht ganz im Zeichen der Snowboard Pro Coachings mit den Ästhetikern. Am Sonntag steht ein Amateur Wettbewerb auf dem Programm, bei dem ebenfalls jeder mitmachen kann! Der Actionpark Kreuzwiese Zillertal Arena
Die Zillertal Arena zählt mit 139 präparierten Pistenkilometern und unzähligen Freeride Möglichkeiten zu den größten und modernsten Skigebieten Österreichs. Auf bis zu 2.500 m verbindet sie Zell am Ziller und Gerlos auf Tiroler Seite mit Krimml/Hochkrimml und Wald /Königsleiten auf der Salzburger Seite. Manfred Brandacher und sein Team von Uniqueparks.com sorgen dafür, dass die Snowparks von Zell über Gerlos bis hin zu Cross Strecken in Königsleiten und der Funpark in Hochkrimml/Gerlosplatte von Weihnachten bis zum Ende der Saison täglich im Top Zustand sind.
Der Actionpark Kreuzwiese bietet auf drei Lines unendlich viele Möglichkeiten für jede Könnerstufe. Die Easyline, Jibline und Kickerline zeichnen sich durch jede Menge Multifunktionsobstacles aus. Verschiedene Absprünge und Flugweiten von 3 bis 10 m liefern einfach jedem den perfekten Freestyle Spass. Das Setup reicht von Kickern, über Boxen, bis hin zu SPC Tubes, Pipelines und Wood Obstacles in den verschiedensten Längen und Variationen. Weitere Highlights sind der Snakerun und das Steve Gruber Special Obstacle, die sogenannte „Miller Spine“, die Corner und der Original Bagjump, der sich besonders gut für das gefahrlose Ausprobieren neuer Tricks eignet. In der Chillarea bei den Indianerzelten gibt es sogar kostenloses W-Lan für alle. Jeden Dienstag organisieren die Ästhetiker im Actionpark an der Kreuzwiese kostenlose Shredschool.at Freestyle Workshops, bei denen jeder herzlich willkommen ist. 25.-26. January 2014 – Actionpark Kreuzwiese Zillertal Arena
Here we go again! The next and third stage of the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards is on schedule for January 25th and 26th 2014 up at the scenic Actionpark Zillertal Arena. Leatherman jumped on board as the newest partner of the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY events and the podium winners can look forward to some cool multi-tools and other prizes from them. On Saturday, it will be all about the snowboard pro-coaching sessions with the Ästhetiker and the amateur contest is on schedule for Sunday. Everyone is welcome to get involved and sign up online at www.valleyralley.at. The deadline for registration is Friday, 24th of January at 6.00 p.m.
The first two tour-stops have set the standard really high and we know that the third stage of the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards is about to step it up even higher at the Actionpark Zillertal Arena on January 25th and 26th. Everyone is welcome to get involved, just sign up online at www.valleyralley.at until Friday 24th of January at 6.00 p.m. On Sunday, during the open snowboard contest, kids, rookies, amateurs, girls and pros will start as one group in the same session. At the end of the day, the top three shredders of each category will be rewarded with mad-prizes from Ride Snowboards, prize money and HOTZONE.TV shopping vouchers.

With their participation, all riders collect points for the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Tour Ranking and World Snowboard Tour Ranking. At the last tour-stop in Mayrhofen a Prince, Queen and a King of the VÄLLEY will be crowned and honored with one of the highly coveted starting spots for the National Championships N.ASA Shred Down Austrian Masters Slopestyle. The Overall Rookie Tour Champion also wins a starting spot for the World Rookie Finals.
All participants can also sign up for the free pro-coaching sessions and rock the Actionpark Kreuzwiese with the Ästhetiker. As at every stop of the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY, Ride Snowboards will be represented at the Actionpark Zillertal Arena. The Actionpark Kreuzwiese Zillertal Arena
With 139 km of groomed slopes and countless freeride options, Zillertal Arena is one of the greatest and most modern resorts in Austria. At 2.500 m above sea level, the massive ski area connects Zell am Ziller and Gerlos in Tyrol with Krimml/Hochkrimml and Wald/Koenigsleiten on the side of the SalzburgerLand. Manfred Brandacher and his Uniqueparks team make sure, that all the snow-parks from Zell to Gerlos, the fun cross-runs runs in Koenigsleiten and the Funpark in Hochkrimml/Gerlosplatte are always in best condition from Christimas until the end of the season.
The Actionpark Kreuzwiese offers on three lines with endless options for every riding level and all age groups. The easy line, jib line and kicker line bring up a great variety with cool multi-functional obstacles. Various jumps of 3 to 10 m tables are in place for all riding abilities to work on their perfect freestyle run. The Actionpark setup ranges from kickers to boxes, SPC tubes to pipelines and unique wood obstacles in many variations and lengths. More cool features include the snake-run and the Steve Gruber Special Obstacle, the so-called “Miller Spine”. There is a fun corner jump and original bag-jump that is particularly well suited trying new tricks with a padded landing. There is a chill area offering a nice place to kick back at the tepees where Wi-Fi is available for all to use free of charge. Ästhetiker Winter MÄSH 2014 - CANCELLED
Mayrhofen, 10. January 2014: Three is the magic number?
Rather not! After all that had begun as perfect in 2013, will not find any sequel this year. External circumstances do not leave any other choice to the Ästhetiker, than to completely cancel the Winter MÄSH for 2014. This is a hard take, after the lengendary Wängl Tängl had celebrated its 10th Anniversary and last appearance on the international snowboard circus in 2012 with a bang. That does not mean that the Ästhetiker Crew surrender a short and easy battle. „We tried everything to make the event happen!“ sais Rudi Kroell, General Manager of the Ästhetiker association.“But the external circumstances were not matching and you have to realize when it it time to let go. We thank our partners for their support and especially Red Bull for their long-term and cross-project loyality.“
Instead of squandering all forces against Goliath, the snowboard crew is now focusing fully on the push of grassroots snowboarding. With the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards, the Ästhetiker are organizing a successful Amateur Contest Series with four tourstops in the holy valley this winter.
The weekly Shredschool Workshops at Zillertal Arena and in Nassfeld and Shred Däys at Hintertux Glacier focus on the promotion of young up-and-coming talents.
„Of course, we are trying to be out there on the mountain ourselves as much as we can,“ Snowboard legend and Ästhetiker president Steve Gruber laughs. „Snowboarding is our passion and that will never change. If the external conditions, location, partners etc. at some point but fit, there will certainly come up another great Ästhetiker Event! We will always have some great ideas in the bag to push the progression of snowboarding!“

Mayrhofen, 10. Jänner 2014: Alle Guten Dinge sind drei?
Manchmal eher nicht! Denn was in 2013 so perfekt begonnen hatte, wird dieses Jahr leider keine Fortsetzung finden. Äußere Umstände lassen den Ästhetikern keine andere Wahl, als den Winter MÄSH für 2014 komplett abzusagen. Auch der legendäre Wängl Tängl feierte 2012 mit dem 10. Jahrestag seinen womöglich letzten Auftritt im internationalen Snowboard Zirkus. Das bedeutet nicht, dass sich die Ästhetiker nach kurzem Kampf so leicht geschlagen geben. „Wir haben bis zur letzten Minute alles in unserer Macht stehende versucht, um den Event zu realisieren,“ erklärt Rudi Kröll, Geschäftsführer des Ästhetiker Vereins. “Jedoch haben die äußeren Umstände einfach nicht gepasst. Man muss wissen, wann es an der Zeit ist, loszulassen. Wir bedanken uns bei unseren Partnen für ihre Unterstützung und vor allem bei Red Bull für die langjährige und projektübergreifende Treue.“
Anstatt weiterhin alle Kräfte gegen Goliath zu verpulvern, konzentriert sich der Verein nun voll auf die Förderung des regionalen und nationalen Snowboard Sports. Mit der Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards organisieren die Ästhetiker diesen Winter erstmals eine erfolgreiche Amateur-Contest Serie mit vier Tourstops im Zillertal. Bei den wöchentlichen Shredschool Workshops in der Zillertal Arena und in Nassfeld sowie den Ästhetiker Shred Däys am Hintertuxer Gletscher stehen die Nachwuchsförderung und die Weitergabe von Tipps und Tricks an junge Talente im Vordergrund.
„Natürlich versuchen wir, selbst so oft wie möglich am Berg zu sein,“ lacht Steve Gruber, Präsident des Ästhetiker Vereins, „Snowboarden ist schließlich unsere Leidenschaft und das wird sich auch nie ändern. Sollten die äußeren Umstände, die Location und Partner dann irgendwann doch wieder passen, so wird es ganz bestimmt auch wieder einen großen Ästhetiker Event geben! An Ideen, die Progression des Snowboardens voranzutreiben, mangelt es uns ja nun wirklich nicht.“
