Team Profile - theDjudes - Chris Kröll and Mario Wanger

Djudes by name, Djudes by nature, and these Djudes are going to be on top of their game having been the guinea pigs on the first night test session in the freshly finished contest line in the Nightpark, Hinterglemm. A little extra training - too right - that's what we mean by experience.

Hailing out of the Zillertal, Austria, and one of the first Winter MÄSH Teams that we want to present to you is probably one of the hottest teams coming to the event. With the combination of a mountain of contest experience combined with killer video parts between them, they could be the smart man's bet for your money on them winning this years first issue of the Ästhetiker Winter MÄSH presented by G-Shock.

Founding members of The Djudes crew, Chris 'CK' Kröll and Mario Wanger are both riding for G-Shock are some of the best all-round snowboarders out there on the circus. Both guys are amazing skaters and you can see the skate influence in there riding styles. While CK loves to jump every kicker to the K-Point Mario´s spin skills are enviable.  Both boys don´t care to much about riding regular contests although CK has a long, impressive,  contest history. Most of their riding time they spent together in the backcountry filming for theDJUDES Project with their private filmer, Julian Pintarelli.  Mario describes CK as the crazy dude always up for the party and the biggest air. CK says that he loves to ride with Mario due to his endless motivation and his pure love and termination to what he is doing. The team format always seems to get the best out of both of them...

Team Profile - Rookie Fest - Ole Christian Hagen and Anders Suua

Qualifying in directly from the World Rookie Tour event in Livigno in January, team Captain Ole Christian Hagen has selected riding partner Anders Suua to create a Norwegian rookie powerhouse team. Underdogs to hero's? We're about to find out... 

 

CHECK OUT OLA CHRISTIAN HAGEN'S WINNING RUN AT THE WORLD ROOKIE FEST LIVIGNO!

Considering the level of riding that has been put on the ground at the World Rookie Tour events in the past couple of years, it was not too difficult to offer a direct qualification spot to the winning rider at this year's WRT in Livigno, Italy. If you wanted some young guns, it's a damn fine place to start. Christian Haller, Roope Tonteri, Gjermund Bratten and Mathias Wiessenbacher being previous winners.

And if you have any concerns the Rookies are up to the task, maybe think again. Ole Christian took out the World Rookie Fest event with a winning run of Cab 7 to Switch b/s 9 to f/s 1080 to back 9...! Not a bad days work! The direct qualification made him the Captain of Team Rookie, with the difficult task of choosing his riding partner and team mate. He's came back to us with a compatriot from Norway, Anders Suua - who by the way, is even younger!

One thing that is for sure, there is something in the water up there in Scandinavia... It is a Viking invasion

Aufgewachsen zwischen Linz und Marseille führte zu einem musikalischen Background zwischen Texta und Soprano. Letzteren durfte er 2010 auf Tour begleiten und nutzte die Gelegenheit einen guten Draht aufzubauen und ein Soprano Feature fürs Texta Album "Grotesk" einzufädeln. Überhaupt nahmen die Linzer "Ziehväter" Huckey und Flip (beide von Texta) Average schon in den frühen Teenager Jahren unter ihre Fittiche. Doch damit nicht genug mit Fußball. Der begeisterte Fifa Zocker - "…Ich kauf´mehr Controller als Spiele, denn seit 1998 bist du meine große Liebe…" - dropt den Song "Wenns ein Mädchen wird". Mit dabei im Video ist Fussballer Andreas Ivanschitz, ebenfalls ein Fifa Nerd. Das überraschend positive Feeback führte unter anderem zu einer Einladung der Firma EA-Sports für eine Performance bei der Fifa 13- Releaseparty in München.

Mitten in der österreichischen Mundart und Slangsta Welle und entgegen allen befreundeten Artists aus dem Umfeld, schreibt er seine Texte auf hochdeutsch. Nicht aus konzeptionellen Gründen oder wegen "dem größeren Markt", sondern weil es natürlich kommt und auch deutscher Hip Hop für ihn ein großer Einfluß war und ist.

It´s hard to describe the riding styles of Adrian and Michi but one thing we know - not many teams will have the firepower to beat these two heavy hitters. Captain Adrian Krainer who is from the south of Austria, just showed his talent with a 8th place at the World Championship in slopestyle. He has really strong stomping legs, is fearless and has a massive bag of tricks.

Team mate, Michael Macho, hails from Tirol and he can ride it all. Pipe, Rails, Big Jumps - you name it – the party Hulk kills it. Let´s see if the boys bring down their runs. If they do so it will be hard to beat them.
