NEW TOUR calendar with two tour stops in April 2021!
As a result of the extended lockdown in Austria, the 8th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards comes along with postponements and cancellations. The first event at Penken Park Mayrhofen will be postponed to Easter Weekend on April 3rd and 4th, 2021. Both March tour stops at Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach and Zillertal Arena are cancelled. So the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY will go down in 2021 with two instead of four events. The great final is set for April 24th and 25th,2021 at Betterpark Hintertux on Hintertux Glacier.
Since eight years, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY, that is organised by the Ästhetiker Snowboard Crew and hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards, has been touring across the Zillertal. The popular snowboard amateur series unites several tour stops in one overall ranking. Every event comes along with a training and coaching day and a slopestyle competition day. Due to COVID-19, only two out of four events will take place this season. The first stop at Penken Park Mayrhofen has been postponed to April 3rd and 4th, while the finals stay set for April 24th and 25th, 2021 at Betterpark Hintertux on Hintertux Glacier. While Penken Park Mayrhofen is already open for training with a full setup these days, Betterpark Hintertux will come back to life on April 10th, 2021 for the upcoming spring season.
With both contest results, athletes accumulate points in the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking. The overall Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2021 tour winners will be rewarded new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family at the final stage in Hintertux. Riders participating in the tour are also collecting points on the International World Snowboard Point List (WSPL).

Thanks to the constant support by the Zillertal Tourism GmbH, the Zillertal mountain companies and tourism associations, as well as loyal partners like Blue Tomato, Ride Snowboards, Red Bull, Horsefeathers, Dana Beanies, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY will head into its 8th season in 2021. The Ästhetiker are optimistic to return back to a normal schedule with four tour stops at Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach, Zillertal Arena, Penken Park Mayrhofen and Betterpark Hintertux in December 2021.

NEUER TOURKALENDER mit 2 Tourstopps im April 2021
Aufgrund des verlängerten Lockdowns gibt es Terminverschiebungen und –absagen bei der 8. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato und Ride Snowboards. Der erste Tourstopp im Penken Park Mayrhofen wird auf das Osterwochenende, den 03./04. April 2021, verschoben. Beide Märztermine in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach und in der Zillertal Arena sind leider abgesagt. Somit findet die Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY dieses Jahr (voraussichtlich) mit einem ausgedünnten Kalender von zwei Events statt. Das Finale soll am 24. und 25. April 2021 im Betterpark Hintertux am Hintertuxer Gletscher über die Bühne gehen.
Seit acht Jahren tourt die Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY jeden Winter unter der Federführung des Snowboardclubs „Die Ästhetiker“ quer durchs Zillertal. Die beliebte Snowboard Freestyle Amateur Serie vereint mehrere Tourstopps in einer Gesamtwertung. Jeder Event besteht aus einem Trainingstag und einem Contest Tag in der Disziplin „Snowboard Slopestyle.“ Corona-bedingt finden diese Saison nur zwei der ursprünglich vier geplanten Tourstopps statt. Los geht es am 03. und 04. April im Penken Park in Mayrhofen. Der zweite Event findet am 24. und 25. April im Betterpark Hintertux am Hintertuxer Gletscher statt. Der Mayrhofner Penken Park ist bereits mit seinem großen Setup für Trainingszwecke geöffnet und auch der Betterpark Hintertux öffnet am 10. April 2021 wieder seine Pforten für freestylebegeisterte Wintersportler.
Mit beiden Contest-Ergebnissen sammeln die Teilnehmer wie gewohnt Punkte im Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Ranking. Die Gesamttoursieger werden nach dem zweiten Tourstopp am Hintertuxer Gletscher zur neuen Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Königsfamilie 2021 gekrönt. Für jede Wettbewerbsteilnahme gibt es zusätzliche Punkte auf der internationalen World Snowboard Point List (WSPL).

The season start of the 8th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards will be postponed to the end of February 2021. Under the aegis of the Ästhetiker crew, the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY unites four events for up-and-coming snowboard talents under the roof of the Zillertal. All four tour stops will go down in different Zillertal snowparks, always with one day of coaching and a slopestyle competition day. The new kick-off date is now the 27th and 28th of February, 2021 at the Penken Park in Mayrhofen-Hippach Zillertal. Snowboard fans can look forward to four action-packed weekends in the Zillertal. At every tour stop, Ride Snowboards and bindings can be tested for free. And while the coaching day stands for freebie freestyle training sessions, Europe´s rising snowboard stars will throw down their best tricks over the slopestyle course on the competition day to grab a spot on the podium. All contests come along with medals, prizes by Ride Snowboards and Blue Tomato and prize money. Horsefeathers deliveres brand-new outfits for the winners of all four best trick awards.
With every single contest result, athletes accumulate points in the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking. The overall Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2021 tour winners will be rewarded new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family at the final stage in Hintertux. Der Saisonstart der 8. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato und Ride Snowboards wird nun auf Ende Februar verschoben. Unter der Federführung des Snowboardclubs „Die Ästhetiker“ vereint die VÄLLEY RÄLLEY vier Snowboard Events für Nachwuchssportler unter dem Dach des Zillertals. Alle Tourstopps werden jeweils mit einem Trainingstag und einem Contest Tag im „Slopestyle“ in vier verschiedenen Zillertaler Snowparks ausgetragen. Neuer Kick-Off Termin ist jetzt der 27. und 28. Toursieger und Highlights der Saison 2019/2020
Mit insgesamt vier Tourstopps tourte die Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY in der Saison 2019/2020 zum siebten Mal quer durchs Zillertal. Und mit ihr zahlreiche junge Snowboardtalente aus ganz Europa. Nachdem das große Finale der beliebten Zillertaler Snowboard Freestyle Tour aufgrund von Corona vom Frühjahr auf den Herbst 2020 verschoben werden musste, wurden die neuen Gesamttoursieger nach dem vierten Tourstopp im Oktober 2020 am Hintertuxer Gletscher gekrönt und geehrt. Die Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY vereint vier spannende Snowboard Slopestyle Wettbewerbe, gratis Freestyle Coachings, lustige Side Events und kostenlosen Snowboardtest in einer einzigartigen Eventserie. Anerkannt als internationaler World Snowboarding Event und offizieller Teil der ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) AustriaCups, lockte die VÄLLEY RÄLLEY auch 2019/2020 wieder viele Snowboarder aus Nah und Fern ins Zillertal.
Denn neben wertvollen Punkten auf der World Snowboard Point List (WSPL), gab es bei allen Events für die Unter-18-jährigen Credits im World Rookie Ranking zu gewinnen. Zusätzlich sammelten die Teilnehmer bei jedem Wettbewerb Punkte in der eigenen Tourwertung, der Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamtwertung.
Die Gesamttoursieger wurden beim letzten Event im Oktober 2020 am Hintertuxer Gletscher zur neuen Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Königsfamilie 2019/2020 gekrönt. Die frisch gebackenen Kings und Queens freuten sich über die berühmten Ästhetiker-Trophäen, Preisgeld und Blue Tomato Gutscheine. Ein Hoch auf die neue Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Königsfamilie:

Tour winners and highlights 2019/2020
With four tour stops, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards toured from one Zillertal snowpark to the next in 2019/2020. Always followed by a great bunch of up-and-coming, international snowboarding talents, the 7th edition of Zillertal´s infamous freestyle snowboard tour has become an important happening for competitive snowboarders from all over Europe. After the great finals had to be postponed from April, the overall tour winners were finally crowned new Kings and Queens of the VÄLLEY after the last tour stop on Hintertux Glacier in October 2020. The Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY unites four exciting snowboarding slopestyle competitions, freebie freestyle coachings, funny side events and free snowboard demo/testing in one unique event tour. Established as a part of the international World Snowboarding Tour event series and as an official part of the ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) AustriaCups, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY attracts snowboarders from far and near to travel to the Zillertal.
With every VÄLLEY RÄLLEY contest participation, riders were gathering points on the World Snowboarding Point List (WSPL) and competitors under 18 years also gained credits for the World Rookie Ranking. Last but not least, all athletes collected points in the overall Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour ranking with every contest result.
In October 2020, the overall tour winners could finally be crowned new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family 2019/2020 after the final tour stop went down at Hintertux Glacier. The great tour finals of the 7th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards 2019/2020 went down on October 17th and 18th, 2020 at the Betterpark Hintertux on Hintertux Glacier. The 4th snowboarding slopestyle contest of Zillertal´s most popular snowboard series 2019/2020 was not only about medals and day podiums, but also about the crowning of the overall tour winners, the new Kings and Queens of the Zillertal VÄLLEY 2019/2020. Last weekend, the 4th and final Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop 2019/2020 hosted by Blue Tomato und Ride Snowboards took place at the Betterpark Hintertux on Hintertux Glacier. Saturday´s coaching and training dÄy came along with wintery conditions and fresh powder for everyone. On Sunday morning, the snowpark showed-off with bluebird and sunshine over the large XXL setup, just in time for the snowboard slopestyle contest. Despite Corona, many snowboarders had come to Hintertux Glacier to clear the last tour points at the 4th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop 19/20, grab for a medal and a spot on the day´s podium and reach out for the crown and title of the overall tour winner. „With distance“ and best manners, the participants reached deep into their bag of tricks to impress the judges and competitors.
It was Slovenian style machine Naj Mekinc, who finally scored twice. With his BS 1080 double cork, he won the Horsefeathers Best Trick Award and claimed the gold medal in the men´s competition in one go. In the ladies category, Italian newcomer Federica Sola came first and Eva Hanicova from Slovakia took the top spot on the Rookie Girls`podium. Paul Frischhut from Austria won the Grom Boys contest and a very happy Matyas Skandera from Czech Republic found himself on top of the Super Grom Boys podium. In the Super Grom Girls category, it was Shania Colsters from the Netherlands, who went for solid gold and thus took the lead in the tour ranking, claiming the crown as the new Queen oft he VÄLLEY in her category.
Vanessa Volopichova from Team Czech Republic won the Grom Girls contest and got rewarded „Most impressive Grom“ of the dÄy by the Ästhetiker jury. With this result, Vanessa took home two crowns as the new double Queen of the VÄLLEY, claiming the titles of the overall Grom Girls and overall female tour winner.
Jakub Hrones, also from the Czech Republic, dominated the Rookie Boys class of the finals. With his outstanding result, he became the new Rookie Boys and overall male tour winner. Jakub took home two trophies and two crowns as the new King of the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2019/2020 Rookie Boys and Overall Men. „Thanks Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY for the great season! It was one for the books and I think everyone hat a great time. I am so stoked to take the overall win! Thank you and see you next season,“ Jakub smiled.

Am 17. Und 18. Oktober 2020 ging das große Tourfinale der 7. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2019/2020 hosted by Blue Tomato und Ride Snowboards im Betterpark Hintertux am Hintertuxer Gletscher über die Bühne. Beim 4. und letzten Slopestyle Wettbewerb der diesjärhigen Zillertaler Snowboard Tour ging es nicht nur um Medaillen, sondern vor allem auch um die Krone! Denn neben dem Tagessieg, stand in Tux-Finkenberg mit dem Tourfinale auch die Krönung der Gesamttoursieger, der neuen Kings und Queens of the VÄLLEY 2019/2020, auf dem Programm. Am vergangenen Wochenende verwandelte sich der Betterpark Hintertux am Hintertuxer Gletscher beim Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tour Finale 2019/2020 hosted by Blue Tomato und Ride Snowboards zum Schauplatz der Europäischen Snowboard-Nachwuchsszene. Nachdem die Snowboarder am Coaching Tag bei tief winterlichen Bedingungen fleissig trainiert hatten, erstrahlte das XXL Setup am Fuße des Olperers am Sonntag rechtzeitig zum Snowboard Slopestyle Contest unter tiefblauem Himmel im Sonnenschein. Trotz Corona waren viele Snowboarder zum Hintertuxer Gletscher gekommen, um beim 4. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstopp 2019/2020 die letzten Tourpunkte abzuräumen und eine Medaille auf dem Tagespodium zu gewinnen oder gar nach der Krone des Gesamttoursiegers zu greifen. Mit „Abstand“ und bei bester Manier packten die Teilnehmer tief in ihre Trickkisten, um die Judges und Mitbewerber zu beeindrucken.
Der Slovene Naj Mekinc räumte gleich doppelt ab. Mit einem BS 1080 Double Cork gewann er den Horsefeathers Best Trick Award und sicherte sich gleich auch die Goldmedaille bei den Männern. Bei den Ladies landete die Italienerin Federica Sola auf dem ersten Platz und Eva Hanicova aus der Slowakei wurde Erste bei den Rookie Girls. Im Grom Boys Wettbewerb fuhr der Österreicher Paul Frischhut auf den 1. Platz und Matyáš Skandera aus Tschechien wurde glücklicher Super Grom Boy Tagessieger.
Bei den Super Grom Girls war es die Holländerin Shania Colsters, die am Ende ganz oben auf dem Treppchen stand und sich damit auch die Krone für den Gesamttoursieg als neue Queen of the VÄLLEY in ihrer Kategorie eroberte. Vanessa Volopichova vom Team Czech Republic gewann den Wettbewerb in der Grom Girls Klasse und wurde von den Ästhetiker Judges mit dem „Most impressive Grom“ Award ausgezeichnet.
Mit diesem Ergebnis verdiente sich Vanessa damit auch gleich zweimal die Krone als neue Queen of the VÄLLEY und Overall Siegerin bei den Grom Girls und in der offenen Klasse sämtlicher weiblicher Fahrerinnen.
Jakub Hrones, ebenfalls aus der Tschechischen Republik, dominierte im Tageswettbewerb die Rookie Boys Klasse. Mit seinem herausragenden Ergebnis war er Gesamttoursieger und wurde als bester Overall Fahrer der gesamten Tour 2019/2020 zum zweifachen King of the VÄLLEY (Rookie Boys und Overall Men) gekrönt. „Ich möchte mich bei der VÄLLEY RÄLLEY für diese Hammer-Saison bedanken. Der letzte Tourstopp hat noch einmal alles übertroffen. Ich glaube, die Teilnehmer hatten bei allen vier Events immer sehr viel Spaß. Ich freue mich riesig über die Krone und meinen Gesamttoursieg. Vielen Dank und bis nächste Saison!“

On October 17th and 18th, 2020, the great tour finals of the 7. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards 2019/2020 will go down at Betterpark Hintertux. Some of Europe´s best up-and-coming snowboard talents have already been spottet training at Hintertux Glacier. Everyone is now looking forward to earn the last points at the 4th and final tour stop of Zillertal´s most poplular snowboard amateur series next weekend. Beside the day podiums, the overall tour winners 2019/2020 will finally be crowned new Kings and Queens of the VÄLLEY in Tux-Finkenberg.
Since the beginning of October, Betterpark Hintertux has been open and busy. With it´s XXL setup consisting of seven jumps, twenty jibs and a halfpipe, the infamous snowpark on Hintertux Glacier offers perfect training opportunities for freestyle-fans of all riding levels. All eyes are now on the upcoming weekend, when the 4th and final Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop 2019/2020 will go down at Betterpark Hintertux.
With their participation in the open slopestyle contest, snowboarders will be gathering points for the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) in Tux-Finkenberg. Beside the competition, the Ästhetiker will be on hand freebie freestyle workshops in the park on the coaching dÄy. Event host Ride Snowboards will be displaying 2020/2021 boards and bindings for free demo/testing, while the second event host Blue Tomato will be throwning out prizes and goodies for everyone participating. Last but not least, the outerwear partner Horsefeathers will be rewarding the best trick of the competition with a special award and prize.
With the result of the 4th and last Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY competition 2019/2020, the overall tour winners can be determined in Tux-Finkenberg and the new Kings and Queens will be crowned and celebrated new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family 2019/2020.

Am 17. Und 18. Oktober 2020 findet das große Tourfinale der 7. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato und Ride Snowboards im Betterpark Hintertux statt. Einige der besten Nachwuchs-Snowboarder Europas wurden schon beim Training am Hintertuxer Gletscher gesichtet, um beim 4. Tourstopp der beliebten Zillertaler Snowboard Amateur Serie 2019/2020 die letzten Punkte abzusahnen. Denn neben den Tagessiegern werden in Tux-Finkenberg auch die Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamttoursieger 2019/2020 zu den neuen Kings und Queens of the Zillertal VÄLLEY gekrönt.
Schon seit Anfang Oktober herrscht im Betterpark Hintertux reges Treiben. Mit über sieben Jumps, zwanzig Jibs und einer Halfpipe bietet der Hintertuxer Gletscher auf dem XXL Setup am Fuße des Olperers beste Trainingsmöglichkeiten für Freestyle-begeisterte Wintersportler sämtlicher Könnerstufen.
Alle Augen sind nun auf das kommende Wochenende gerichtet. Denn am 17. und 18. Oktober 2020 findet mit dem 4. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstopp auch das große Finale der aktuellen Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2019/2020 im Betterpark Hintertux statt. Mit ihrer Teilnahme am Slopestyle Wettbewerb sammeln die teilnehmenden Snowboarder wertvolle Punkte auf der internationalen World Snowboard Point List (WSPL). Neben dem Wettbewerb am Contest Tag, bieten die Ästhetiker am Coaching Tag gratis Freestyle Coachings an. Event Host Ride Snowboards bringt aktuelle Snowboards und Bindungen aus 2020/2021 zum kostenlosen Test in den Park, während Blue Tomato jede Menge Preise und Goodies dazubuttert und Horsefeathers den besten Trick des Tages mit einem Special Award belohnt.
Mit dem Ergebnis des 4. und letzten Wettbewerbs 2019/2020, stehen auch die Gesamttoursieger fest und die neue Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Königsfamilie wird Anschluss an die reguläre Siegerehrung in Tux-Finkenberg gekrönt. Eine Online Anmeldung ist für Coaching und Contest erforderlich und kann noch bis Donnerstag, 15.10.20 unter www.valleyralley.at vorgenommen werden.
