Great tour final at Betterpark Hintertux – Hintertux Glacier – Tux-Finkenberg 27th and 28th April 2019
For the great tour final of the 6th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards 2018/2019, the best European up-and-coming snowboarding talents gathered at the Betterpark Hintertux on Hintertux Glacier on April 27th and 28th, 2019. The final snowboarding slopestyle contest of Zillertal´s most popular Snowboard Amateur Series 2018/2019 was not only about the day podiums, but also about the overall tour winners and crowning of the new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family. Around ninety snowboarders traveled from all over Europe to Hintertux Glacier for the great Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY finals. Beside the last tour points and medals for the day podiums, the overall tour winner´s crowns were up for grabs at the forth and last Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop in Tux-Finkenberg. Despite challenging conditions due to poor visibility and strong winds, riders were showing off, presenting their best tricks at the Betterpark Hintertux.
Nico Winkler from Austria turned out to be the hero of the day, taking home three victories in one go. Beside the first place in the Rookie Boys (16-18 years) category, he also won the gold medal in the open men´s class and on top of all this, Nico claimed the Billabong Best Trick Award with his nice Cab 720. Amber Fennell from Team GBR impressed the judges once again with her performance, winning the Super Grom Girls competition (under 13 years) and dominating the podium of the open ladies´ ranking as the best female rider of the contest. With all these results, Amber took first place in the overall tour ranking and claimed the crown as a new Queen of the VÄLLEY. Amber´s team mate Charlie Lane (GBR) could not be beaten in the Super Grom Boys contest. With his day win and after having collected three other gold medals during the season, Charlie claimed the title as King of the VÄLLEY. With Niklas Huber and Mia Grempel, two Germans won Gold in the Groms category (13 to 15 years) at Hintertux Glacier. Niklas also got rewarded „Most impressive Grom of the day.“ Finally it was Emma Lantos from Austria, who claimed the top spot on the Rookie Girls day podium and became new Queen of the VÄLLEY in the Rookie Girls and overall female categories.
As the new Kings and Queens of the VÄLLEY, the freshly crowned Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family got honoured with trophy money fame and glory. And the new Kings and Queens 2018/2019 are:

Sunday´s Coaching dÄy was the perfect conclusion of an exciting Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour season. Hintertux Glacier welcomed all riders with fresh powder and wintery conditions. Everybody had fun at the coaching and Limbo RIDE fun sessions. To end the weekend in a great way, Tux-Finkenberg tourism offered free drinks for everyone at Tuxer Fernerhaus.

Zum großen Tourfinale der 6. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards 2018/2019 versammelten sich die besten Europäischen Nachwuchs-Snowboarder Ende April im Betterpark Hintertux am Hintertuxer Gletscher. Beim letzten Slopestyle Snowboard Contest der Zillertaler Snowboard Amateur Serie 2018/2019 ging es in Tux-Finkenberg nicht nur um das Tagespodium, sondern auch um den Gesamttoursieg und die Krönung der neuen Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Königsfamilie. Knapp Neunzig Snowboarder anläßlich des großen Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Finales zum Hintertuxer Gletscher nach Tux-Finkenberg gereist, um die letzten Tourpunkte abzuräumen und nach einer Medaille auf dem Tagespodium oder gar der Krone für den Gesamttoursieg zu greifen. Trotz herausfordernder Bedingungen durch Wind und Wetter packten die Teilnehmer am Samstag im Betterpark Hintertux tief in ihre Trickkiste.
Am Ende war es der Jenbacher Nico Winkler (AUT), der gleich dreifach abräumte. Neben dem ersten Platz in seiner Altersklasse bei den Rookie Boys (16-18 Jahre), holte er die Goldmedaille im der offenen Kategorie sämtlicher männlicher Teilnehmer und gewann mit seinem stylischen Cab 720 zusätzlich den Billabong Best Trick Award. Aber auch Amber Fennell vom Team GBR konnte mit ihren konstanten Leistungen die Judges beeindrucken. Sie gewann den Wettbewerb in ihrer Altersklasse Super Grom Girls (unter 13 Jahre) und dominierte das Podium der offenen Ladies Klasse als beste weibliche Snowboarderin des Tages, womit sie sich auch die Krone als neue Queen of the VÄLLEY holte. Ambers Teamkollege Charlie Lane (GBR) stand bei den Super Grom Boys ganz oben auf dem Tagestreppchen und wurde nach vier Tourstoppsiegen von den Ästhetikern wohlverdient zum King of the VÄLLEY bei den Super Grom Boys ernannt. Mit Niklas Huber (GER) und Mia Grempel (GER) gewannen zwei Deutsche in der Groms Kategorie (13-15 Jahre) am Hintertuxer Gletscher die Goldmedaille. Niklas wurde darüber hinaus als „Most impressive Grom of the day“ geehrt. Schließlich war es die Österreicherin Emma Lantos, die sich mit ihrem Tagessieg in der Rookie Girls Kategorie auch gleich zweifach die Krone als neue Queen of the VÄLLEY verdiente.

Der Coaching Tag am Sonntag war der perfekte Ausklang für eine spannende Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Toursaison. Mit frischem Neuschnee präsentierte sich der Hintertuxer Gletscher tief winterlich und alle hatten viel Spass bei den Coachings im Betterpark Hintertux und der Limbo Ride Fun Session am Tuxer Fernerhaus. Zum krönenden Abschluss spendierte der Tourismusverband Tux-Finkenberg Freigetränke für alle.
Sarah Moser vom Marketing Hintertuxer Gletscher freut sich über das erfolgreiche Tourfinale „Es war wieder eine große Freude die bereits 6. Auflage der Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY im Betterpark Hintertux austragen zu können. Die Fahrer waren alle topmotiviert und auch der Wind konnte ihnen nichts anhaben. Wir freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr.“

All eyes are now on Hintertux! That´s where the great Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards finals will go down on April 27th and 28th, 2019. Europe´s best up-and-coming snowboarding talents will be gathering at Betterpark Hintertux to rake in the last points for Zillertal´s most popular Snowboard Amateur Series. Beside the day podiums, the overall tour winners 2018/2019 will be crowned new Kings and Queens of the VÄLLEY at Hintertux Glacier. Since the beginning of April, the best season is in full swing at Betterpark Hintertux. Hintertux Glacier´s XXL setup will be open until the 10th of June and by the end of April, it´s going to turn into a stage for the final Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop 2018/2019. Excitement ahead! The very last VÄLLEY RÄLLEY slopestyle contest, that also marks the great Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY finals 2018/2019, will be all about the crown! Depending on weather and conditions, the Ästhetiker will decide on Thursday before the event, whether the contest or coaching will be taking place on Sunday or Saturday, Ride Snowboards will be displaying boards and bindings right at the snowpark for free demo/testing on both days. Beside freebie freestyle coachings with the Ästhetiker, Ride also gives away tons of mad-prizes at the LIMBO RIDE fun session.
The contest day will be all about greater performances and higher scores. All riders collect points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) and after the fourth out of four contests, the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall winners 2018/2019 will be crowned new Kings and Queens of the VÄLLEY at Hintertux Glacier. Die besten Nachwuchs-Snowboarder aus ganz Europa werden am letzten Aprilwochenende im Betterpark Hintertux anzutreffen sein, um bei der beliebten Zillertaler Snowboard Amateur Serie die letzten Punkte abzusahnen. Neben den Tagessiegern werden am Hintertuxer Gletscher auch die Gesamttoursieger 2018/2019 gekrönt und als neue Kings und Queens of the VÄLLEY geehrt. Die Anmeldung für Tux-Finkenberg ist noch bis zum 25. April unter www.valleyralley.at freigeschaltet. Mitmachen lohnt sich für alle!
Seit Anfang des Monats hat im Betterpark Hintertux die beste Jahreszeit begonnen. Das XXL Setup am Hintertuxer Gletscher bleibt noch bis zum 10.06.2019 geöffnet und Ende April verwandelt sich der Park in eine Schaubühne für den letzten Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstopp 2018/2019. Spannung ist vorprogrammiert, denn beim letzten Slopestyle Contest, der gleichzeitig das große Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Finale markiert, geht es vor allem um die Krone! Je nach Wetter entscheiden die Ästhetiker am Donnerstagabend vor dem Event, an welchem Tag der Contest und wann das Coaching stattfinden wird. Ride Snowboards bringt an beiden Tagen Snowboards und Bindungen zum kostenlosen Test in den Park. Neben kostenlosen Freestyle Coachings mit den Ästhetikern, verschenkt Ride Snowboards am Coaching Tag beim LIMBO Ride jede Menge Preise.
Am Contest Tag geht es dann um die beste Performance und natürlich auch um die höchste Punktzahl. Bluebird and happy faces at the 2nd tour stop at Zillertal Arena 19th-20th January 2019
For the second Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards tour stop, the Actionpark Kreuzwiese showed off with a fun setup at Zillertal Arena. The 2nd event of Zillertal´s most popular Snowboard Amateur Series came along with bluebird, many happy faces and great vibes. While the bagjump was the main attraction for trainings on the coaching day, snowboarders from all different European teams delivered an exciting battle for the podium spots on the contest day. Finally bluebird! Just in time for the second Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards tour stop, the Actionpark Kreuzwiese was shining brightly in the sun. After all the snow falls, the Uniqueparks.com shape team had been working hard to get the setup ready for the second Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop. Snowboarders were even happier about the coaching and training day with perfect conditions in the sun at Zillertal Arena on Saturday. On Sunday, riders of all European teams showed off to impress the judges and numerous spectators on site. The second competition of this season´s VÄLLEY RÄLLEY brought up tons of medals, prize money and mad-prizes for the top 3 riders of every category. Competitors were further collecting Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall points and claiming credits on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL).
It was british young gun Gabe Adams from Team Why Ain´t You, who dominated the Rookie Boys class (16-18 years) and claimed gold in the men´s open class (all male riders of the contest) in one go. Gabe was chased by his Why Ain´t you team mate Nico Winkler (AUT) who became second in the Rookie class. Nico also took bronze in the men´s open class, while his „Switch Backside 900“ got awarded BILLABONG best trick by the Ästhetiker. Amber Fennell and Charlie Lane, both from Team GBR, won the Super Grom Girls and Boys (under 13 years) contest, while Leonardo Cerato from Italy and Laura Zaveska (CZE) climbed the Grom Boys and Girls podium in first place. Emma Lantos from Austria was happy to win the Rookie Girls contest (16-18 years) while also claiming gold in the women´s open class (all female riders of the contest) as best female rider of the day. Last but not least, Dutch newcomer Shania Colsters got rewarded „most impressive grom of the day“ by the judges.
Heike Schoof from Zillertal Arena is delighted about the happening: „As every year, we are happy with a successful Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY, which gives priority to young riders and up-and-coming talents. This time, the weather was on our side, as well and the tour stop could not have turned out any better.“
With the second out of four results, interesting changes appear in the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking. Dutch high flyer Bart Falhaber claims the lead in the Men´s open class, while Emma Lantos (AUT) takes over the top spot of the overall VÄLLEY RÄLLEY female and Rookie girls rankings. Lukas Frischhut (AUT) is on top of the Rookie boys ranking while Paul Frischhut (AUT) and Laura Zaveska (CZE) take over the Grom boys and girls lead. Why Ain´t You team buddies Charlie Lane (GBR) and Amber Fennell (GBR) stay save in their pole positions on top of the Super From boys and girls VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall rankings.
But nothing is final, yet! Two more tour stops to come and everything can still change. After the forth event, the overall winners will finally be crowned new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family in Hintertux. Zum 2. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards Tourstopp präsentierte sich der Actionpark Kreuzwiese in der Zillertal Arena von seiner besten Seite. Mit strahlendem Sonnenschein und guter Stimmung sorgte der zweite Event der beliebten Zillertaler Snowboard Amateur Serie für viele glückliche Gesichter. Während am Coaching Tag besonders der Bagjump in den Mittelpunkt des Trainings rückte, lieferten sich Snowboarder sämtlicher Teams aus ganz Europa am Sonntag einen aufregenden Wettbewerb um die ersten Plätze. Endlich Sonne! Pünktlich zum zweiten Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards Tourstopp glänzte der Actionpark Kreuzwiese im strahlenden Sonnenschein. Das Uniqueparks.com Shapeteam hatte im Akkord gearbeitet, um den Park für den 2. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Event startklar zu machen. So freuten sich die Teilnehmer am Samstag über einen entspannten Coaching- und Trainingstag mit perfekten Bedingungen in der Zillertal Arena. Am Sonntag packten die Teams dann im offenen Slopestyle Contest ihre besten Tricks aus, um die Judges und zahlreichen Zuschauer vor Ort zu beeindrucken. Schließlich ging es beim zweiten Wettbewerb der diesjährigen Tour nicht nur um Medaillen, Preisgeld und Sachpreise, sondern auch um Punkte in der Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamtwertung. Zusätzlich sammeln alle Teilnehmer Credits auf der internationalen World Snowboard Point List (WSPL).
Gabe Adams vom Team GBR holte sich den Sieg bei den Rookie Boys (16-18 Jahre) und gewann als Tagesbester auch die Goldmedaille in der offenen Klasse der Männer (sämtliche männliche Teilnehmer). Sein Why Ain´t you Team Kollege Nico Winkler aus Jenbach (AUT) war ihm dicht auf den Fersen und gewann mit seinem „Switch Backside 900“ neben der Rookie´s Silber Medaille und Open Class Bronze Medaille auch den Billabong Best Trick Award. Amber Fennell und Charlie Lane, beide vom Team GBR, standen in der Super Grom Klasse (unter 13 Jahre) jeweils ganz oben auf dem Treppchen. Bei dem Grom Boys (13-15 Jahre) waren es Leonardo Cerato (ITA) und Laura Zaveska (CZE), die sich die Goldmedaille verdienten. Die Österreicherin Emma Lantos dominierte das Rookie Girls (16-18 Jahre) Podium und erwies sich mit ihrem 1. Platz in der Open Class der Ladies (sämtliche weibliche Teilnehmer) als beste weibliche Snowboarderin des Tages. Schließlich freute sich die Holländerin Shania Colsters über ihre Auszeichnung als „Most impressive Grom of the day.“
Heike Schoof von der Zillertal Arena freut sich über den gelungenen Event: „Wie jedes Jahr freuen wir uns über die gelungene Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY, die junge Talente in den Vordergrund stellt und diesmal war zudem das Wetter auch auf unserer Seite! Einen besseren Tourstopp hätte es nicht geben können.“
Mit dem zweiten von vier Ergebnissen ergeben sich interessante Veränderungen in der VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamtwertung. So übernimmt der Holländer Bart Falhaber bei den Männern die Führung, während Emma Lantos (AUT) das VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Ranking der Ladies und Rookie Girls anführt. Lukas Frischhut (AUT) steht bei den Rookie Boys auf Platz 1. Paul Frischhut (AUT) sichert sich den Top Spot bei den Grom Boys und Laura Zaveska (CZE) hält ihre Führung bei den Grom Girls. Why Ain´t you Teamkollegen Charlie Lane (GBR) und Amber Fennell bleiben bei den Supergroms unangefochten auf den ersten Plätzen im VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamtwertung.
Es bleibt jedoch spannend, denn zwei weitere Tourstopps stehen noch auf dem Terminkalender der diesjährigen Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards. Die Gesamttoursieger werden beim letzten Tourstopp im April 2019 am Hintertuxer Gletscher zur neuen Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Königsfamilie gekrönt. Countdown for the second tour stop at Zillertal Arena: 19th-20th January 2019
It´s happening again! The second Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards tour stop will go down on January 19th and 20th, 2019 at Zillertal Arena. With the upcoming event, the Actionpark Kreuzwiese in Zell will turn into the stage of Zillertal´s most popular Snowboard Amateur Series. The registration for freebie freestyle coachings and the open World Snowboarding slopestyle competition is open at www.valleyralley.at until Thursday, 17th of January. Preparations are getting serious at Zillertal Arena these days. Just in time for the second Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY stage hosted by Ride Snowboards, park designer Manfred Brandacher and his Uniqueparks.com shape team are working their magic to deliver a brand-new setup on Zell´s Kreuzwiese. Depending on the weather, the Ästhetiker organizers will decide and communicate on Thursday, whether the contest will take place on Saturday or Sunday and which day the coaching will be happening. Ride Snowboards will be there on both days with the latest boards and bindings for free demo/testing. Snowboarders of all age groups and levels can look forward to an action-loaded weekend with funny side events such as the Limbo RIDE at Zillertal Arena.
While snowboarders will be practising in small groups on the bagjump and other lines of the snowpark on the coaching day, the action will go straight to the point on the contest day. That´s when snowboarders from all over Europe will show off to earn valuable points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) and add VÄLLEY RÄLLEY points to their overall account at Zillertal Arena. The best trick will be rewarded by Billabong and all medalists will take home mad-prizes and price money, beside all the applause, fame and glory.
With the second out of four results, there will appear interesting changes in the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking and the overall winners will be crowned new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family at the last tourstop in spring. The event in Zell am Ziller counts as a n.ASA (New Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacup and all rookies gather points for the World Rookie Ranking. More info on http://www.powdern.com

Es ist wieder soweit! Am 19. und 20. Januar 2019 steht der 2. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards Tourstopp in der Zillertal Arena auf dem Programm und der Actionpark Kreuzwiese in Zell verwandelt sich zum Schauplatz der beliebten Zillertaler Snowboard Amateur Tour. Die Anmeldung für die kostenlosen Freestyle Coachings und den offenen World Snowboarding Slopestyle Wettbewerb ist noch bis Donnerstag, 17. Januar unter www.valleyralley.at freigeschaltet. Jeder motivierte Snowboarder ist wie immer herzlich eingeladen, mitzumachen.
In der Zillertal Arena laufen die Vorbereitungen bereits auf Hochtouren. Rechtzeitig zum 2. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards Tourstopp zaubert das Uniqueparks.com Shapeteam rund um Parkdesigner Manfred Brandacher ein ganz neues Setup auf die Zeller Kreuzwiese. Je nach Wetterbedingungen halten sich die Veranstalter der Ästhetiker frei, an welchem Tag der Contest und wann das Coaching stattfindet. Die endgültige Entscheidung wird am Donnerstag bekannt gegeben. Ride Snowboards ist an beiden Tagen mit den neusten Boards und Bindungen zum kostenlose Test vor Ort. Snowboarder sämtlicher Altersklassen und Könnerstufen können sich auf ein actionreiches Wochenende in der Zillertal Arena mit lustigen Side Events wie der Limbo RIDE Fun Session freuen.
Während am Coaching Tag in kleinen Gruppen entspannt im gesamten Snowpark und am Bagjump Luftkissen trainiert wird, geht es am Contest Tag etwas hektischer zur Sache. Schließlich sammeln Teilnehmer sämtlicher Nationen neben wertvollen Punkten auf der internationalen World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) in der Zillertal Arena auch Punkte für die VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamtwertung. Der beste Trick wird von Billabong mit einem besonderen Award ausgezeichnet und sämtliche Medalisten aller Kategorien reisen mit jeder Menge Sachpreisen und Preisgeld nach Hause.
Mit dem zweiten von vier Ergebnissen wird es interessante Veränderungen in der VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamtwertung geben. Die Gesamttoursieger werden dann beim letzten Tourstopp im Frühjahr 2019 zur neuen Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Königsfamilie gekrönt. Der Tourstopp in Zell am Ziller zählt als n.ASA (New Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacup und alle Rookies sammeln Punkte im World Rookie Ranking. Successful tour start at Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach
On December 22nd and 23rd 2018, the 6th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards reconvened with the first stage at ski centrum Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach. The opening event of Zillertal´s most popular snowboard amateur series started with a bang! More than a hundred riders and international teams traveled to Hochzillertal to grab for a spot on the first VÄLLEY RÄLLEY snowboard slopestyle podium of the season. After an exciting contest day, everybody was happy to shred together and learn some new tricks on the coaching day. What a tour start! Just in time for the first Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY event, the Betterpark Hochzillertal showed off with a first class setup. Saturday´s competition start list comprised strong teams from Europe and Japan. All hundred riders seemed uninhibited by wind and weather and delivered their best tricks, hoping to rake in some of the popular medals, prize money and mad-prizes. Beside the day podiums, riders were collecting points for the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking and the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL).
For Japan´s Ryoma Kimata the journey to Zillertal paid off threefoldly. The talented Japanese scored two gold medals,. One in the category Rookie Boys (16-18 years) and one in the Men´s Open Class (all male participants of the contest). He also won the highly coveted BILLABONG best trick award with his stylish „FS 1080 Double Cork.“ On the female side, it was Melissa Peperkamp from the Netherlands, who took home three top spots. Beside the first place in the Grom Girls (13-15 years) category, she dominated the Women´s Open Class (all female participants of the contest) and got rewarded „most impressive grom of the day“ by the Ästhetiker judges. Team Great Britain´s Amber Fennell earned herself the gold medal in the Super Grom Girls contest (under 13 years) while her fellow-countryman Charlie Lane took victory in the Super Grom Boys category. Jakub Hrones from Czech Republic won the Grom Boys (13-15 years) contest while Kiara Zung was holding the Austrian flag as winner of the Rookie Girls (16-18 years) class.
Sunday was all about coachings and trainings at Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach. The Ästhetiker coaches Steve Gruber, Friedl Kolar, Klaus Hofmeister and Chris Kröll took over all the different lines of the Betterpark Hochzillertal. In small groups, snowboarders of all riding levels had the opportunity to try out new tricks and improve their technique under the eyes of their coaches. At the Ride Highest Ollie Contest, Ride Snowboards rewarded all great ollies with nice prizes. Everyone involved finally joined the last get-together at the Kristallhütte, before the entire Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY crew rode down to the valley together.
Martha Schultz, Ski Centrum Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach is delighted with the successful event: „Thanks to the team of the Ästhetiker. Once again, they were proffessionals at work. And these kind of events are important for wintersports and for our kids and young athletes. They convey the common joy out in nature and our youth is finding a platform to benchmark themselves.“
With the first out of four results, the hunt for valuable Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking points has started. The overall winners will be crowned new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family at the final tourstop on Hintertux Glacier in April 2019. Erfolgreicher Tourstart mit Teilnehmer-Rekord im Skizentrum Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach
Am 22. und 23. Dezember 2018 startete die Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards erfolgreich in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach in ihre sechste Saison! Der Auftaktevent der beliebten Snowboard Amateur Serie konnte sich mit über Hundert Teilnehmern und internationalem Starterfeld sehen lassen. Im Wettkampf um die ersten Podiumsplätze packten Snowboarder sämtlicher Altersklassen auf dem Slopestyle Parcours tief in ihre Trickkiste. Auch der Coaching Tag stand zur Freude aller Beteiligten ganz im Zeichen der Freestyle Progression auf allen Ebenen. Was für ein Tour Auftakt! Rechtzeitig zum ersten Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstopp erstrahlte der Betterpark Hochzillertal mit seinem erstklassigen Setup in vollem Glanz. Die Startliste war gespickt mit starken Teams aus Europa und Japan. Alle über Hundert Teilnehmer ließen sich am Samstag nicht durch Wind und Wetter einschüchtern und lieferten dem staunenden Publikum ihre besten Tricks. Schließlich gab es beim ersten Snowboard Slopestyle Wettbewerb der diesjährigen VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tour neben Medaillen, Preisgeld und Sachpreisen auch wertvolle Punkte in der Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Gesamt-wertung und auf der World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) zu gewinnen.

Zusammen mit den Ästhetiker Coaches Steve Gruber, Friedl Kolar, Klaus Hofmeister und Chris Kröll übten die Teams auf sämtlichen Lines im Betterpark Hochzillertal. In kleinen Gruppen wurde fleißig an neuen Tricks und verbesserter Technik gefeilt Zum gebührenden Abschluss gab es jede Menge Preise beim Ride Snowboards „Highest Ollie Contest“ zu gewinnen. In der Kristallhütte ließen die Beteiligten ein erfolgreiches Wochenende in gewohnter Manier mit leckeren Essen in gemütlicher Runde ausklingen.
