Tourstart in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach on December 22. & 23.12
On December 22nd and 23rd 2018, the 6th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards will be kicking off with the first stage in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach. Everybody is welcome to sign up for the open snowboard slopestyle contest and freebie freestyle coachings with the Ästhetiker at www.valleyralley.at. For 15-year-old „Grom Boys“ overall winner and King of the VÄLLEY 2018, Gabe Adams (GBR), the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY has been a door opener for the World Rookie Tour and international contest life. Lifts are already running at Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach and as usual, the Snowpark Hochzillertal will be opening the doors with the first stage of the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards. No matter, if active contest or coaching participants, parents, friends or just spectators, everybody is more than welcome to the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY. Ride Snowboards will provide the latest snowboards and bindings for free demo/testing. Ride will also hand out nice prizes to all participants of the Limbo RIDE, a fun session which is all about getting lowest under a bar – while snowboarding, off course! On the Coaching day, riders will be shredding all lines of the snowpark and the Ästhetiker are available for freebie freestyle coaching sessions of all levels. The Contest day will be all about great tricks and showing off. Snowboarding talents from all over Europe will be representing all possible age groups and battle it out on the slopestyle course. Beside Ästhetiker medals and mad-prizes, prize money and the highly coveted Billabong Best Trick Award will be up for grabs in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach.
With the first out of four results, the hunt for valuable Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking points will be opened again. At the final tourstop, the overall winners will be finally crowned new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family in spring 2019. All riders further collect points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL). The first stage also counts as n.ASA (New Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacup, while rookies collect points for their actual World Rookie Rank.

Ride Snowboards bringt die aktuellsten Boards und Bindungen zum kostenlosen Test nach Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach und verteilt dazu jede Menge Preise beim Limbo RIDE Spaß Wettbewerb. Wie beim Limbo Dance, versucht man hier, mit dem Snowboard so tief wie möglich unter einer Stange durchzufahren. Am Coaching Tag wird im gesamten Snowpark fleißig trainiert und die Ästhetiker stehen für gratis Freestyle Coachings für alle Könnerstufen bereit. Am Contest Tag geht es dann richtig zur Sache. 6th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards
New Schedule for 2018/2019
Once again, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards will conquer the best snow parks of Zillertal this 2018/2019 season. The 6th edition of Austria´s popular snowboard amateur series will have four events and go down between December 2018 and April 2019. As always, the Ästhetiker snowboard club will showcase first-class snowboarding across the Zillertal. During the last five years, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY has been established as a landmark in the European snowboarding scene. „Our main goal is to provide a platform for up-and-coming talent while sharing the stoke for snowboarding with young guns and motivated shred heads of all riding levels“ snowboard legend and Ästhetiker president Steve Gruber explains. „With the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY we have been supporting a vast numbers of riders on their journey to becoming a professional snowboarder. Even some actual Olympians have used our grassroots tour to make it to the top of international podiums.“
Boardsports fans can look forward to four action-packed weekends of snowboarding. All events will offer freebie freestyle coachings with the Ästhetiker pros at the best snow parks of the Zillertal. Ride Snowboards will have the latest snowboards and bindings available for free demo/testing at all stages. The Limbo RIDE fun contest is all about keeping it low under the bar and taking home great prizes. Riders of all nations and age groups will raise that bar during the open slopestyle competitions and podium winners will be taking home medals, prizes and prize money. To top it off, the best trick at each event will be honored with a special prize from Billabong.
Every contest result will accumulate points for the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking. The overall Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2019 winners of each catagory will be rewarded at the fourth and final stage on Hintertux Glacier. Riders that participate in the tour will also be collecting points for the International World Snowboard Point List (WSPL). The points from the first three VÄLLEY RÄLLEY events are counting for the n.ASA (New Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacups, while the riders with the most Austriacup points will finally be crowned Austrian Slopestyle Masters 2019. With the results from the first three stages, the best man, woman and rookies can also qualify for the Austrian Masters Slopestyle Finals. In fünf Jahren hat sich die Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards fest in der Europäischen Snowboard Szene etabliert. „Uns geht es in erster Linie um die Nachwuchsförderung, aber auch um den Spaß am gemeinsamen Snowboarden,“ erklärt Ästhetiker Präsident und Snowboard Legende Steve Gruber. „Mit der VÄLLEY RÄLLEY haben wir vielen talentierten Snowboardern den Weg in ihre Profikarriere geebnet. Brettsportfans können sich auf vier Wochenenden feinster Snowboard Action freuen. Bei allen Events gibt es kostenlose Freestyle Coachings mit Snowboard Profis aus den Reihen der Ästhetiker. Beim Limbo RIDE Spaß Wettbewerb geht es darum, so tief wie möglich unter der Stange durchzufahren und dafür viele Sachpreise abzusahnen. Ride Snowboards hält die neusten Snowboards und Bindungen zum gratis Testen parat. Beim offenen Slopestyle Contest schrauben Snowboard Talente aus ganz Europa die Meßlatte ganz nach oben. Den Tagessiegern winken neben viel Applaus auch jede Menge Medaillen auch Sachpreise und Preisgeld. Der beste Trick wird von Billabong jeweils mit einem Sonderpreis honoriert.

Great final at Hintertux Glacier in Tux-Finkenberg: 28th-29th April 2018
A vast number of snowboarders from all over Europe gathered at the Betterpark Hintertux on Hintertux Glacier on April 28th and 29th, 2018 to hold the great final of the infamous Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards 2017/2018. The last event of Austria´s most popular snowboard amateur series was all about the overall win and crowning of the new Royal Zillertal Välley Rälley Family 2018. Around 100 riders showed up for the grand Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards Finals in Tux-Finkenberg to rake in more Välley Rälley overall points beside the last stage victory. The fourth and last event of the popular snowboard amateur series was finally all about the the crown. On the contest dÄy, snowboarders of all categories took it with changing winds and visibility to impress the judges and spectators at Betterpark Hintertux.
It was Patrick Cinca from Germany who succeeded to handle the conditions the best. He earned the Billabong Best Trick Award with his stylish Switch Backside 900 and took the gold medal in the men´s contest. Katharina Kasper, also from Germany, took the top spot on the women´s podium. while Czech high flyer Ladislav Hrstka and Germany´s Annika Morgan were the winners of the rookie contest. Both Evy Poppe (BEL) and Gabe Adams (GBR) won the groms class and claimed overall victory with the last result from Hintertux. It was Amber Fennell from Team GBR, who took another gold medal in the Super Grom Girls category and became Queen of the Välley 2018. Her team buddy Lenny Fenning did not only dominate the Super Grom Boys class, he also took home the „Most impressive Grom of the dÄy“ Award. In the end it was his countryman Charlie Lane, who won the crown as Super Groms overall tour winner.
For their overall victory, the freshly crowned Kings and Queens of the Välley finally got rewarded the new Royal Zillertal Välley Rälley Family. The titles came along with loads of honor, fame and trophy money. The new Kings and Queens 2018 are:

Sunday´s coaching dÄy was the mellow and perfect conclusion of another exciting Zillertal Välley Rälley season. Cloudy skies could not keep the riders from having fun shredding the Betterpark Hintertux and the entire resort of Hintertux Glacier together. One last time, Ride Snowboards provided goodies for all riders at the very last Limbo Ride session and Tux-Finkenberg Tourism offered free soup and drinks for everyone to end the weekend properly.
Simone Krause from the department at Hintertuxer Gletscher is delighted about the successful tour finals: „It was a great pleasure to host the Zillertal Välley Rälley finals at the Betterpark Hintertux. Despite challenging weather conditions, the event turned out to be a full success. We finally witnessed many happy Kings and Queens of the Välley 2018.“
The Betterpark Hintertux will stay open and get shaped an a regular basis until the beginning of June.

Zum großen Tourfinale der beliebten Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards 2017/2018 versammelten sich am 28. und 29. April 2018 jede Menge Snowboarder aus ganz Europa im Betterpark Hintertux am Hintertuxer Gletscher. Schließlich stand beim letzten Event von Österreichs populärster Amateur Snowboard Serie in Tux-Finkenberg auch der Toursieg und die Krönung der neuen Zillertal Välley Rälley Königsfamilie auf dem Programm. Knapp 100 Snowboarder waren zum großen Finale der Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards nach Tux-Finkenberg gekommen, um beim letzten Tourstop neben dem Tagessieg noch die letzten Punkte im Välley Rälley Overall Ranking einzustreichen. Schließlich ging es beim 4. und letzten Tourstop der beliebten Snowboard Amateur Serie um die Krone. Snowboarder sämtlicher Kategorien nahmen es am Samstag mit wechselnden Wind- und Sichtverhältnissen im Betterpark Hintertux auf sich, um die Judges und zahlreichen Zuschauer vor Ort zu beeindrucken.
Den meisten Erfolg hatte dabei der Deutsche Patrick Cinca, der mit einem stylischen Switch Backside 900 sowohl den Billabong Best Trick Award, als auch die Goldmedaille bei den Männern abräumte. Katharina Kasper, ebenfalls aus Deutschland, schaffte es bei den Ladies auf den ersten Platz. Der Tscheche Ladislav Hrstka und Annika Morgan vom Team Germany standen bei den Rookies ganz oben auf dem Treppchen, während Evy Poppe (BEL) und Gabe Adams (GBR) jeweils mit ihrem Tagessieg in der Groms Klasse auch den Gesamtsieg für sich beanspruchten. Amber Fennell, vom Team GBR bleibt mit ihrem erneuten ersten Platz unangefochtene Queen of the Välley in der Super Groms Kategorie, während Teamkollege Lenny Fenning in Tux-Finkenberg den Supergrom Boys Tagessieg und den Award als „Most impressive Grom of the dÄy“ abgreifen konnte. Der Gesamtsieg geht allerdings in dieser Kategorie an seinen Landsmann Charlie Lane.
Als neue Kings und Queens of the Välley freute sich die frisch gekrönte Königsfamilie über jede Menge Ruhm, Ehre und Preisgeld für den Gesamtsieg. Die neuen Kings & Queens of the Välley 2018 sind:

Der Sonntag war als Coaching Tag der perfekte Ausklang für eine aufregende Zillertal Välley Rälley Toursaison. Durchziehende Wolkenfelder konnten die Coaching Teilnehmer nicht davon abhalten, den Betterpark und das gesamte Gebiet des Hintertuxer Gletschers mit viel Spaß unsicher zu machen. Ride Snowboards verteilte beim letzten Limbo Ride der Saison jede Menge Goodies und der Tourismusverband spendierte zum krönenden Abschluss Gulaschsuppe und Freigetränke für alle Teilnehmer.
