Perfect start to the 12th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY just before Christmas in the Zillertal On 20 and 21 December 2025 in the Hochzillertal – Kaltenbach ski region

On 20 December 2025, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato kicked off its twelfth season in glorious sunshine with the first tour stop in the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski region. The opening event of the popular Ästhetiker Snowboard Tour attracted over ninety participants from all over Europe to the leading holiday region in the Zillertal. With its unique combination of snowboard freestyle coaching, style sessions and internationally recognised snowboard slopestyle competitions, the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY has established itself as an important tour for young talent and is nowadays a springboard for young snowboarders into international professional sport. Perfect start to the season with over 90 participants

It couldn't have been better! Just in time for the first Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop 2025/2026 hosted by Blue Tomato, the Betterpark Hochzillertal shone in bright sunshine with its first-class freestyle setup. Over 90 participants from all over Europe travelled to the premier holiday region in the Zillertal for the first VÄLLEY RÄLLEY event of the popular snowboard tour.

Park opening, training sessions and Ästhetiker style session to kick off the freestyle season

Betterpark Hochzillertal opened its doors for the winter season on Saturday with its XXL setup, offering young snowboarding talents from all over the world perfect training conditions. Many participants took the opportunity to learn new tricks during the free freestyle coaching sessions and at the end of the day, plenty of prize money, fame and glory were up for grabs at the Ästhetiker Style Session. The Style Award winners are:

Grom Boys (U16) Alex Campbell (AUS)

Women: Marie Kuhlmann (GER)

Best Trick: Damian Millinger (GER) „Switch BS 180 BS Air“

Overall Best performance: Dmytro Luchkin (UKR)

International winners' podium at the 1st Slopestyle competition in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach

On Sunday, conditions were perfect for the snowboard competition in the Olympic category ‘slopestyle’. International teams raised the bar high in the battle for the top podium places right at the start of the season. The winners of all eight categories received lots of medals, prize money and prizes from partners like Zillertal.at, Blue Tomato and Horsefeathers.

At the end of an exciting day, Austrian Eric Dovjak was delighted to take first place in the open class of all male riders. With his stylish ‘Switch Backside 1260’, he also won the coveted Horsefeathers Best Trick Award. In the ladies' competition, it was Austria's Livia Schatzer who was delighted to be crowned the best female rider, winning gold in her age group in the Rookie Girls (U18) and in the open class of all female riders. In the Rookie Boys category (U18), Dmytro Luchkin (UKR) dominated the podium of  a very strong starter field. Marie Kuhlmann from Germany impressed the judges in the Grom Girls (U16) category as the best snowboarder of the day in her age group, taking home the gold medal. Her teammate Leo Schwab from Team Germany fought his way to the title in the Grom Boys (U16) category. In the ‘little’ Super Groms (U12) category, Valerie Schwab from Team Germany and Newin “Nunu” Kunert from Team Czech Republic climbed to the top of the podium as the happy winners of the day. Last but not least, young Jonas Krauer from Czech Republic was overjoyed with his title as ‘Most impressive Grom of the day’.

Martha Schultz from the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach Ski Centre is delighted with the successful launch event: ‘Thanks to the Ästhetiker team. They are professionals at work! Events like this are very important for winter sports and for our children and young talents – they convey the fun of being outdoors and allow young people to compete with each other and measure their skills.’

The points chase has officially started

With the first of four contest results, the starting signal for the chase for new points was given in the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski region. The overall tour winners will be crowned the new Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY royal family in spring 2026 on Hintertux Glacier. Points will also be awarded for participation on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) and the tour stop counts as an ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacup. All under-18s collected points in the World Rookie Ranking at Betterpark Hochzillertal and can therefore qualify for the World Rookie Tour Finals. More information at http://www.powdern.com

Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato 4th stage Crowning of the overall tour winners at Hintertux Glacier in Tux-Finkenberg: 03-04 May 2025

The grand final of the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2024/2025 hosted by Blue Tomato took place at Hintertux Glacier in the beginning of May with the 4th and final tour event. Young snowboarders from all over Europe had travelled to Tux-Finkenberg for the last contest of the season and crowning of the overall tour winners. Oliver Štastný from Czech Republic and Marie Kuhlmann from Team Germany ultimately took the overall victory of this year's Zillertal snowboard Amateur Series, which was held in the Olympic discipline ‘Snowboard Slopestyle’ at Betterpark Hintertux on May 3rd and 4th 2025. Just in time for the final Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY event, Betterpark Hintertux started into the spring season with a large setup at the bottom of the impressive Olperer mountain on Hintertux Glacier. Wille Kaufmann and his Betterparks shape team had conjured up a versatile setup for all ages and skill levels for the 4th stage of the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY. On Saturday, 3rd of May 2025, over fifty ambitious snowboarders showed up to show off their best tricks on Betterparks´ medium line at the last slopestyle competition of the season.

 

Enzo Valax (FRA) and Marie Kuhlmann (GER) were both delighted with their 1st place in the open class. Enzo also saved himself the highly coveted Horsefeathers Best Trick Award with a sensational ‘SW BS 900’, while Marie claimed another gold medal in her own age category (Grom Girls). In the Rookie category (U18), Anna Tomanova (CZE) and Dima Luchkin (UKR) delivered the best performances, earning themselves the win. Aris Kyriazis (GER) won the Grom Boys (U16) competition, while Klaudie Pouchova (CZE) and Riley Sharpe (GBR) both took victory for their solid performances in the youngest age group of Super Groms (U12). The results of the 4th and final VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop in Hintertux finally also determined the overall tour leaders. The lucky winners were crowned the new Kings and Queens of the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2024/2025 at the festive conclusion of another successful snowboard event series. Ines Eberl from Marketing at Hintertux Glacier was delighted with the successful event: ‘It's a pleasure for us to see how much enthusiasm and ambition the young athletes have for their sport and we are very proud to be able to make a contribution to youth development by being part of the game.’

 

Sunday was all about the pleasure of snowboarding together. Motivated freestyle newcomers learned new tricks in small groups with the Ästhetiker coaches. Everyone was invited to get involved into the Ästhetiker Style Sessions and throw down their best style tricks. Among the girls, the overall winner´s little sister, Tilda Kuhlmann was delighted to receive a special award. Nunu Kunert (CZE) got rewarded the grom boys style award for his ‘Frontside 360 Tail’. And while Fabian Nehring (GER), participant since the 1st ever VÄLLEY RÄLLEY eleven years ago, came second with his stylish ‘JapÄn Air’, Niko Lemark (SLO) was delighted to win the overall Ästhetiker Style Award in the men's category by throwing down a ‘Frontside 260 Lien.’

 

To finish of this year's Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY in a perfect way, Tux-Finkenberg sponsored sausages and fries for everyone. What a season – it´s a wrap! 4th stage and great Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY final with crowning of the overall tour winners at Betterpark Hintertux - Hintertux Glacier - Tux-Finkenberg on the 03rd and 04th of May 2025

The great Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour finals hosted by Blue Tomato will go down at Hintertux Glacier in Tux-Finkenberg on the first weekend of May. And just in time for the training, Betterpark Hintertux opened its gates with a great new setup on the 26th of April 2025. With its unique combination of international snowboard slopestyle competitions, freestyle coachings and side events, the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY has become one of the leading grassroots contest series for snowboarders from all over Europe. In addition to the winners of the 4th tour stop, the overall tour winners will be crowned new ‘Kings and Queens of the Zillertal VÄLLEY’ in Hintertux. The infamous Betterpark Hintertux has woken from winter dormancy. With its popular XXL setup, the snowpark at the bottom of the ‘Olperer’ already called in the spring season on April 26th. The schedule of the 4th and final Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop in the beginning of May includes a contest day and a training day, freestyle coachings and the popular Ästhetiker Style Session, where also non-contest-competitors can get involved.

 

On the contest day, snowboarders of all age groups will compete in their respective categories. Young talents will show off with their best freestyle tricks at the slopestyle contest on Betterpark´s medium line. As at all previous tour stops, the day's winners will be awarded with plenty of medals, prize money and the last VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking points of the season. The best trick will be honoured with a special prize by Horsefeathers Clothing. Depending on the weather, the contest will take place on Saturday or Sunday. The organizers will announce the final schedule until Thursday before the event. During the contest, there might be restrictions on the medium line for non-participants.

 

With the last of four contest results, the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall tour winners will be set in Hintertux. The new Kings and Queens of the Zillertal VÄLLEY will be crowned the new ‘Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY royal family 2024/2025’ after the regular prize giving at Hintertux Glacier.

 

On top of all this, the contest participants will be collecting valuable points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL). The tour stop counts as an ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) Austria Cup and rookies (U18) will be credited extra points in the World Rookie Ranking. Happy faces at the 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop on 8th and 9th of March 2025 at PenkenPark Mountopolis - Mayrhofen-Hippach in the Zillertal

The third Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop hosted by Blue Tomato went down with bluebird and sunshine at PenkenPark Mountopolis in the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region on 8th and 9th of March 2025. With its unique combination of international snowboard slopestyle competitions, free freestyle coachings and the popular Blue Tomato presents: Penken FunCross Battle, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY, one of the leading snowboard freestyle junior tours, attracted many young snowboarders from all over Europe to travel to the Zillertal for the twelfth time in a row. For the 3rd VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop, the PenkenPark, on of the top 5 snowparks in Europe and ‘home park’ of the Ästhetiker snowboard crew, presented itself as always with its perfectly prepared XXL setup in the sun. On Saturday, the open slopestyle contest was held with over fifty snowboarders between the ages of 4 and 25 on the ‘Advanced and Medium Line’. In perfect conditions. Participants from all over Europe put on a top-class freestyle show. To the delight of all athletes and spectators, Blue Tomato offered free hot dogs, drinks and snacks in the Riders Lounge right next to the snowpark.

 

The top winners of the day were Oliver Šťastný and Anna Tomanova from the Czech team. Both won the gold medal in the rookies age group (U18) with a strong performance. They also both secured overall victory as the best participants in the competition in the men's and women's open class. Arnor Thoroddsson from Iceland caused a stir with his stylish ‘FS Double Cork 1080 Indy’ and saved himself the highly coveted Horsefeathers Best Trick Award as well as the silver medal in the open men's category. In the grom girls class (U16), Olivie Pouchova (CZE) was delighted to take first place and also took home the silver medal in the overall standings.

 

In the grom boys (U16), Leo Schab from Team Germany was delighted with his comeback from injury and rode straight to first place. 10-year-old Riley Sharpe from Team Great Britain defended his gold medal in the super grom Boys class (U12) from last year unchallenged, while another 10-year-old, Klaudie Pouchova from the Czech Republic, claimed the top spot on the super grom girls podium. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY newcomer Finn Wallis from the British team (WhyAintYou) was crowned ‘Most progressive Grom’ by the aesthetes.

 

On Sunday, the programme continued with free freestyle coaching sessions, where everyone could take part. Shortly before midday, the starting signal was given for the Blue Tomato presents: PenkenFunCross Battle. Over fifty snowboarders had registered for the fun competition, which was held on the FunCross race track at

 

PenkenPark. Two snowboarders competed against each other in a knockout system. The faster one advanced to the next round and so it went on until victory. The organisers of the Ästhetiker Snowboard Crew were also keen to take part, and managing director and Välley Rälley production manager Rudi Kröll was delighted to take first place in the men's open class. Luca Webster (GBR) was the fastest of the ladies. Aris Kyriazis (GER) won the FunCross Battle in the U18 class, Kanoa Steidle came first in the U12 age group and Olivie Pouchova (CZE) was happy with her first place in the girls' under-16 category. Blue Tomato rewarded all the winners with packed goodie bags and there were many happy faces at the end of another successful VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop.

 

Andreas Pramstraller from Mayrhofner Bergbahnen is delighted with a successful tour stop: ‘So many motivated starters from all over Europe show that the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY is still one of the most popular snowboard tours for young snowboarders in the Alps. Thanks to the passion for snowboarding and the experience of the Ästhetiker crew, it becomes more special every year. The third tour stop in Mayrhofen in the perfectly shaped PenkenPark offered action, airtime and plenty of fun. A special highlight was the Penken FunCross Battle on our newly built FunCross,track,  where young and old competed for the best time. We're already looking forward to next year!’

 

With the third of four contest results, the cards in the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Ranking were reshuffled in Mayrhofen. The VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall tour winners will finally be crowned the new Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Royal Family 2025 after the fourth and final tour stop on the  3rd  and 4th of May 2025 on Hintertux Glacier.

 

By participating in the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region, the snowboarders collected valuable points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL), which they can use to qualify for European Cups and World Cups. Rookies (U18) are credited points in the World Rookie Ranking. As the current leading rookies in the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking after the 3rd tour stop, Kristina Holzfeind (AUT) and Oliver Šťastný (CZE) each win a wildcard for the World Rookie Finals from 23th to 28th of March in Kaprun. Congratulations! The tour stop is also a recognised ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacup.

3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop on 8 and 9 March 2025 at PenkenPark Mountopolis - Mayrhofen-Hippach in the Zillertal

All eyes are now on the PenkenPark in Mayrhofen. This is where the 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstop hosted by Blue Tomato will take place on 8 and 9 March 2025. With a unique combination of international snowboard slopestyle competitions, coaching sessions and side events, the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY is one of the leading junior series for young snowboarders from all over Europe. A special highlight on Sessions Day is the Blue Tomato presents: Penken FunCross Battle, where everyone can get involved. The PenkenPark in Mayrhofen is the ‘home park’ of the Ästhetiker Snowboard Crew. As one of the most popular freestyle parks in the Zillertal, it is also one of the top 5 snow parks in Europe. At the 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop, the programme includes the open snowboard slopestyle competition as well as many side events. On contest day, snowboarders of all ages will be competing on the advanced and medium line. Plenty of medals and prize money await the day's winners. The best trick will also be rewarded with a prize from Horsefeathers.


Depending on weather conditions, the competition will take place on Saturday or Sunday, with coaching and Penken FunCross Battle on the other day. The Ästhetiker crew will announce the final schedule by Thursday before the event.
