Message: the more you live the less you die ...
Best Story to tell: my idea of life is to spend as
many days as possible on the beach surfing. living close to the ocean
and it´s neverending rhythm gives me a peace of mind that i haven´t
discovered anywhere else in life so far. During my almost fifteen years
of camp experience i have come across many people with different
preferences and styles...eventhough not all of them stuck with surfing i
could see the catalytic effect the ocean had on many of them. By
spending time in the water, away from the everyday´s worries and
routine, many of them could get in touch with their inner selves, thus
finding about more about who they are and what their way is in this
life. The effect of surfing and the lifestyle involved with surfing
brings up many good ideas, brings people together ( no matter of where
they come from and what their background is) and often leads to long
term friendships... and i enjoy being part of this and seeing how
things develop in all different directions ...For being awarded with
waves everyday i have to make sacrifices, sometimes massive ones, but
on a long term basis, it´s the ONLY way i can see for myself. otherwise i
would be making sacrifices in a place i don t want to be for a life i
wouldn´t enjoy ... and that would definitely be worse. In life, there
are paths you can only walk alone. there is no place for someonelse to
walk next to you cause they are too narrow.
Even if noone understands why you have choosen this "narrow" path you
will keep walking it with a smile. Loads of people using the beaten
track are able to walk next to each other... which is sometimes more
pleasant. That is each individual´s own choice. me i´d rather live 20
exciting years full of adventures and surprise than live 100 years
without the highs ( and also the lows) i´m going through....but now i´m
off...for the mid-tide session in ....
what ever ! waves, no waves, work or school, day or night, path or
highway .... it doesn t really matter ...it´s all good ... And always
remember: do not belive everything you read and DON´T LET ANYONE LOOK
INTO YOUR CARDS...
