The third edition of the Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards is a wrap. With four tourstops, the popular Snowboard Amateur Series took over the best snowparks of the Zillertal between December 2015 and April 2016. Lots of smiling faces, proud parents, coaches and friends and a constantly growing royal family, that´s the vibe of the Zillertal Välley Rälley! for the third time in a row, the Ästhetiker crew took their infamous Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride to the best snowparks of the Zillertal again in 2015/2016. The unique combination of freebie snowboard pro coaching sessions with the former Ästhetiker pros Steve Gruber, Friedl Kolar, Chris Kroell and Klaus Hofmeister, free hardware demo testing by Ride Snowboards and an open Snowboard slopestyle contest for all age groups attracted riders from all over Europe to travel to the Zillertal at least once a month.
The entire action kicked off in December 2015 at the Betterpark Hochzillertal. Motivated shredders met up in Gerlos, Zillertal Arena for the second event in January. The third tourstop took place at the Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen, where also the actual Super Grom Tour Tyrol winners 2016 were crowned. This year´s Välley Rälley finals went down at Hintertux Glacier in early April.
Beside the four day podiums, riders were also gathering valuable points for their overall Välley Rälley ranking and World Snowboard Tour ranking. The new Zillertal Välley Rälley Royal Family 2016 was finally crowned and celebrated at the last tourstop in Hintertux:

Die dritte Auflage der Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards ist Geschichte. Mit vier Tourstops gastierte die beliebte Snowboard Amateur Serie der Ästhetiker zwischen Dezember 2015 und April 2016 in den besten Snowparks des Zillertals. Viele strahlende Gesichter, stolze Eltern, Trainer und Freunde und eine weiterhin wachsende Königsfamilie gehören mittlerweile zum Välley Rälley Standardprogramm! Zum dritten Mal in Folge tourte die Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride wieder quer durchs Zillertal. Die einzigartige Kombination aus kostenlosen Snowboard Pro Coaching Sessions mit den ehemaligen Ästhetiker Snowboard Pros Steve Gruber, Friedl Kolar, Chris Kröll und Klaus Hofmeister, gratis Ride Snowboards Materialtest und einem offenen Snowboard Slopestyle Contest für sämtliche Altersklassen, lockte auch diesen Winter wieder Snowboarder aus ganz Europa ins Zillertal.
Los ging´s im Dezember 2015 im Betterpark Hochzillertal. Im Januar pilgerten motivierte Snowboarder zum zweiten Tourstop nach Gerlos in die Zillertal Arena. Weiter ging es mit dem dritten Tourstop und Finale der Super Grom Tour Tyrol 2016 im Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen. Das diesjährige Finale wurde schließlich im April am Hintertuxer Gletscher ausgetragen.
Bei allen vier Events gab es neben dem Tagespodium, auch wertvolle Punkte im Overall Tour Ranking, sowie Punkte im World Snowboard Tour Ranking zu gewinnen. Die neue Zillertal Välley Rälley Königsfamilie 2016 wurde schließlich beim letzten Tourstop am Hintertuxer Gletscher ehrwürdig gekrönt und gefeiert:

Finals and crowning of the royal family at the 4th Tourstop on Hintertux Glacier
Tons of titles, medals and trophees were up for grabs at the fourth and final Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards tourstop on April 2nd and 3rd 2016 at the Betterpark Hintertux. Beside the tourstop podiums, the overall tour winners and thus the royal Zillertal Välley Rälley family 2016, got crowned at Hintertux Glacier that weekend. Due to challenging conditions with strong winds and flat lights the Ästhetiker decided to change the formate from slopestyle to rail jam. Almost 80 competitors and teams of all nations were battling it out in the finals, showing off with their best tricks on the jib line. On April 2nd, 2016, the Betterpark Hintertux just opened the doors for the spring season with the Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride coaching and training day. While the Ästhetiker coaches Steve Gruber, Friedl Kolar and Klaus Hofmeister were shredding around the easy, medium and jib lines all day long with up-and-coming talents, men were already warming up for the final contest on the pro line. For the perfect end of the day, the tourism association Tux Finkenberg sponsored free goulash soup and drinks for everyone.
Around 80 riders were gathering in Hintertux for the final competition on Sunday. Because of wind and flat lights, the Ästhetiker replaced the slopestyle by a rail jam formate. Riders of all categories moved on to the jib lines to show off with their best tricks one more time and collect points in the World Snowboard Tour ranking.
Heli Bockhorni (GER) and Niklas Huber (GER) could handle the conditions best and both took victory in the super grom category, while Annika Morgan (GER) and Gabe Adams (GBR) made it to the top spot in the groms class. Gabe also hit the jackpot as the “most impressive grom of the day.” Tereza Sebkova (CZE) and Chandler Hunt (USA) were the winners of the rookie class and Tereza Cermakova (CZE) won the gold medal in the women´s category. Austrian coach and jib master Felix Widnig could not be beaten on the rails and got first in the men´s contest. Ukrainian rail machine Kirill Milutyn won the Vans Best Trick Award with a stylish FS blunt sex change and took home a complete streetwear outfit voucher.
After the winners of the day, the overall tour winners and thus official Zillertal Välley Rälley royal family 2016, got crowned in Hintertux. Previous year´s Princess, Evy Poppe (BEL) managed to defend her title and become Princess of the Välley 2016 (super grom girls). Niklas Huber (GER) was on top of the super grom boys ranking and became Prince of the Välley. Marie Kreisingerova (CZE) and Niclas Bothe (GER) were crowned Dutchess and Duke of the Välley for their first places in the groms category. Adela Kreisingerova (CZE) and Jan Rovenksy (CZE) were the Baroness and Baron as leaders of the rookie class. Djoelie Ectors (BEL) is the name of the new Queen of the Välley (women). With Roli Tschoder (AUT) and Patrick Fankhauser (AUT) two friends are sharing the lead of the overall men´s ranking and consequently the throne and crown of the actual King of the Välley 2016.
Adela Kreisingerova (CZE) and Jan Rovensky (CZE) both further won a wildcard for the World Rookie Finals, that will be kicking off right after the Välley Rälley finals.
Sarah Moser, Marketing Manager of Hintertux Glacier: ”The finals of this year´s Zillertal Välley Rälley have been at the same time a first performance test for the new setup at Betterpark Hintertux, which started into the spring season that weekend. The great number of participants on the coaching and contest day were checking out the brand-new park setup and despite persisting south winds, everybody was content. Again, it has been a great weekend with a great bunch of young and motivated snowboarders and we are looking forward to the 4th Välley Rälley series in 2016/2017.”

Großes Tourfinale beim 4. Tourstop im Betterpark Hintertux am Hintertuxer Gletscher / Tux Finkenberg
Jede Menge Titel, Medaillen und Trophäen warteten beim vierten und letzten Tourstop der Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards am 2. und 3. April 2016 im Betterpark Hintertux auf ihre Gewinner. Neben den Tagessiegern wurden auch die Gesamttoursieger und somit die neue Zillertal Välley Rälley “Königsfamilie” 2016 am Hintertuxer Gletscher gekrönt. Wind und flache Sicht forderten die Teilnehmer besonders heraus, so dass die Ästhetiker kurzerhand entschieden, den Contest im Rail Jam Format durchzuführen. Die knapp 80 Teilnehmer ließen sich davon nicht beeindrucken und Teams sämtlicher Nationalitäten lieferten sich zum Tourfinale einen spannenden Wettbewerb auf der Jib Line. Pünktlich zum Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Coaching und Training Tag öffnete der Betterpark Hintertux am 2. April 2016 seine Pforten für die Frühjahrssaison. Während die Ästhetiker Steve Gruber, Friedl Kolar und Klaus Hofmeister mit ihren Gruppen die Easy und Medium Lines unsicher machten, fuhren sich die Männer schon mal auf der Proline warm. Zum perfekten Abschluss des Tages spendierte der Tourismusverband Tux Finkenberg Gulaschsuppe und Getränke für alle.
Knapp 80 Starter hatten sich am Sonntag am Hintertuxer Gletscher versammelt, um das Finale der beliebten Snowboard Amateur Serie unter sich auszumachen. Windböen machten den Teilnehmern zu schaffen und so entschieden die Ästhetiker kurzerhand, den Slopestyle Contest in ein Rail Jam Format umzuwandeln. Snowboarder sämtlicher Kategorien starteten nun auf den verschiedenen Jib Lines. Auch im Rail Jam Format konnten die Fahrer wertvolle Punkte im World Snowboard Tour Ranking sammeln und so brachten alle zum Saisonabschluss nochmal ihre allerbesten Jib Tricks aufs Eisen.
Als beste Super Groms konnten Heli Bockhorni (GER) und Niklas Huber (GER) ihre Jib Skills unter Beweis stellen. Annika Morgan (GER) und Gabe Adams (GBR) schafften es in der Grom Kategorie ganz oben aufs Treppchen, während Gabe zusätzlich den Award als “most impressive Grom of the Day” abräumte. Tereza Sebkova (CZE) und Chandler Hunt (USA) heißen die Sieger der Rookie Klasse und Tereza Cermakova (CZE) sahnte die Goldmedaille bei den Frauen ab. Schließlich blieb der österreichische Coach und Jibmeister Felix Widnig bei den Männern unschlagbar und holte sich den unangefochtenen Tagessieg. Der Vans Best Trick Award und damit ein komplettes Streetwear Outfit ging an den Urkainischen Gast-Shredder Kirill Milutyn für seinen stylischen “FS blunt sex change.”
Anschließend wurden auch die Gesamttoursieger zur offiziellen Zillertal Välley Rälley “Königsfamilie” 2016 gekrönt. Vorjahressiegerin Evy Poppe (BEL) konnte ihren Titel als Princess of the Välley (Super Grom Girls) verteidigen. Niklas Huber (GER) wurde zum Prince of the Välley (Super Grom Boys) ernannt. Marie Kreisingerova (CZE) und Niclas Bothe (GER) erhielten als Overall Sieger der Groms Kategorie den Titel als Dutchess und Duke of the Välley. Adela Kreisingerova (CZE) und Jan Rovensky (CZE) wurden zur Baroness und zum Baron 2016 in der Rookie Klasse ernannt. Djoelie Ectors (BEL) heisst die neue Queen of the Välley (Women). Den Thron und die Krone des neuen King of the Välley 2016 (Men) teilen sich mit Roland Tschoder (AUT) und Patrick Fankhauser (AUT) zwei Freunde aus Tirol.
Adela Kreisingerova (CZE) und Jan Rovensky (CZE) gewinnen zusätzlich eine Wild Card für die von der N.ASA organisierten World Rookie Finals, die direkt anschließend an die Välley Rälley in Ischgl über die Bühne gehen.
Sarah Moser, Marketing Leitung Hintertuxer Gletscher: “Das Finale der heurigen Zillertal Välley Rälley war auch die erste Bewährungsprobe für den Betterpark Hintertux, der an diesem Wochenende in die Frühlingssaison gestartet ist. Die vielen Teilnehmer am Coachingday sowie die Contestteilnehmer haben den Park auf Herz und Nieren bzw. Rail und Kicker getestet und waren bis auf den anhaltende Südföhn mehr als zufrieden. Es war wieder ein tolles Wochenende mit vielen jungen motivierten Fahrern und wir freuen uns auf die 4. Välley Rälley Tour im Winter 2016/17.”

4. Tourstop Hintertuxer Gletscher – 02.-03.04.2016 - Betterpark Hintertux / Tux Finkenberg
Alle Augen sind nun auf Hintertux gerichtet. Denn dort steigt am 2. und 3. April 2016 das große Finale der Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards. Mit der Välley Rälley erwacht auch der Betterpark Hintertux wieder aus dem Winterschlaf. Die Anmeldung für die kostenlosen Coaching Sessions und den offenen Snowboard Slopestyle Contest ist bereits unter www.valleyralley.at freigeschaltet und Startplätze sind wie immer heiß begehrt, also nichts wie ran!
Am 2. Und 3. April ist im Betterpark Hintertux wieder Snowboard Action deluxe angesagt. Mit dem letzten Tourstop der beliebten Zillertaler Snowboard Amateuer Serie öffnet auch der Betterpark Hintertux wieder seine Pforten für die Frühjahrssaison. Denn der Winter ist noch lange nicht vorbei! Auf 3.200 Metern Seehöhe bietet der Park mit seinem XXL Setup und fünf Lines unbegrenzten Freestyle Spaß für alle Könnerstufen. Ride Snowboards bietet allen Gästen an diesem Wochenende die Möglichkeit, die neusten Snowboards und Bindungen direkt am Snowpark kostenlos zu testen. An den Freestyle Coaching Sessions mit den Ästhetikern kann jeder teilnehmen. Einfach vorher auf www.valleyralley.at einen kostenlosen Platz sichern. Einen Tag lang werden gemeinsam mit den Ästhetiker Coaches Steve Gruber, Chris Kröll, Friedl Kolar und Klaus Hofmeister je nach Könnerstufe in kleinen Gruppen neue Tricks eingeübt, während Ästhetiker Filmer Andreas Monsberger und ein Photograph den gesamten Spaß dokumentieren.
Auch am offenen Snowboard Slopestyle Contest kann jeder teilnehmen. Die Startplätze sind begrenzt und wer mitmachen möchte, sollte sich vorher online anmelden. Auf den unterschiedlichsten Lines wird schließlich in den unterschiedlichen Altersklassen und Kategorien um den Tagessieg gekämpft. Wie immer wird der beste Trick von Vans mit einem gesamten Streetwear Outfit honoriert und alle Teilnehmer sammeln Punkte im World Snowboard Tour Ranking.
Beim letzten von vier Tourstops geht es allerdings um mehr als nur Medaillen, Preisgeld und Sachpreise von Ride, Vans, Red Bull, Greenroom, Black Eye und Dana Beanies. Mit dem Tagesergebnis stehen auch die Gesamtsieger der Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride 2015/2016 fest. Schließlich werden ein neuer Prinz und eine neue Prinzessin, ein Duke, eine Dutchess, ein King und eine Queen of the Välley 2016 zum Tourabschluss feierlich gekrönt. Der beste Overall Rookie gewinnt zusätzlich eine Wild Card für die World Rookie Finals, die direkt anschließend an die Välley Rälley in Ischgl stattfinden.

4. Tourstop Hintertux Glacier – 02.-03.04.2016 - Betterpark Hintertux / Tux Finkenberg
All eyes are on Hintertux right now! That´s where the great finals of the Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards will go down on April 2nd and 3rd, 2016. With the last Välley Rälley tourstop, the Betterpark Hintertux will celebrate its comeback from winter dormancy. The registration for the freebie coaching sessions and the open snowboard slopestyle contest is open at www.valleyralley.at. Start spots are limited, you´d better hurry up and get involved!
On April 2nd and 3rd 2016, the Betterpark Hintertux will be the stage of some serious snowboard action again. With the final tourstop of the popular Zillertal amateur snowboard series, the Betterpark Hintertux will also open the doors for the spring season, since the winter has literally just begun. On 3.200 metres above sea level, the park will be showing off again with the infamous XXL setup and five different lines to ensure unlimited freestyle fun for everyone! All weekend long, Ride Snowboards will offer snowboards and bindings to all guests for free testing right at the Betterpark. In all different age groups, riders will finally battle it out on all different lines. The final tourstop is not only about medals, prize money and mad-prizes by Ride, Vans, Red Bull, Greenroom, Black Eye and Dana Beanies. With the fourth and last result, the overall Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride tour winners 2015/2016 will be determined and the new prince and princess, duke and dutchess, king and queen of the Välley 2016 will finally be crowned in Hintertux! The overall rookie winner gets a wild card for the upcoming World Rookie Finals 2016.

3. Tourstop im Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen / Hippach im Zillertal und Super Grom Tour Tyrol Finale
Beim dritten Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Tourstop im Vans Penken Park trugen nicht nur die Tagessieger jede Menge Medaillen, Anerkennung und Preise davon. Auch die Sieger der Super Grom Tour Tyrol 2016 wurden am 20. und 21. Februar in Mayrhofen im Zillertal ehrwürdig gekrönt und geehrt. Alle 100 Teilnehmer hatten es an diesem Wochenende mit wechselhafter Sicht und Wind auf sich genommen. Das Wetter konnte ihnen den Spaß allerdings nicht verderben und die Messlatte anspruchsvoller Tricks wurde erneut nach oben geschraubt, nicht zuletzt weil das Shapeteam im Vans Penken Park unermüdlich für perfekt präparierte Obstacles sorgte. Der Vans Penken Park empfing seine Gäste zum 3. Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards Tourstop mit einem perfekt geshapten XXL Setup. Am Coaching Tag waren die Ästhetiker Coaches Steve Gruber, Chris Kröll, Friedl Kolar und Klaus Hofmeister im gesamten Park mit ihren Schützlingen unterwegs, um auf den verschiedenen Jump und Jib Lines in kleinen Gruppen neue Tricks einzuüben, während die Männer und Frauen auf der Pro und Advanced Line bereits fleißig für den Contest trainierten.
Am Sonntag gingen insgesamt 85 Starter sämtlicher Kategorien im offenen Snowboard Slopestyle Contest an den Start. Top Fahrer aus ganz Europa legten die Messlatte in allen Kategorien ganz nach oben und im Wettkampf um die begehrten Podiumsplätze ging es richtig heiß her. Kein Wunder, denn neben Medaillen, Preisgeld und Sachpreisen, gab es auch Punkte im World Snowboard Tour Ranking und Välley Rälley Gesamt Tour Ranking zu gewinnen.
Bei den Supergroms schafften es Evy Poppe (BEL) und Niclas Huber (GER) wieder einmal ganz oben aufs Treppchen. Annika Morgan (GER) und Samuel Jaros (SVK) domintierten das Podium in der Grom Kategorie, während Adéla Kreisingerova (CZE) und Billy Cockrell (GBR) die Sieger der Rookie Klasse waren. Gillian Finnerty (GBR) gewann bei den Frauen, während der Schotte Matt McCormick nicht nur bei den Männern die Goldmedaille absahnte, sondern zusätzlich noch mit einem sauberen bs9 den Vans Best Trick Award und damit ein Streetwear Outfit von Vans mit nach Hause nahm. Nico Winkler aus Österreich wurde schließlich von den Ästhetikern zum most impressive Grom von Mayrhofen ernannt.
Der 3. Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Tourstop in Mayrhofen war gleichzeitig auch ein Teil des AustriaCups und das Finale der von der N.ASA organisierten Super Grom Tour Tyrol 2016. Bei den Grom Girls holte sich Emma Lantos (AUT) den heiß begehrten Titel. Nico Winkler (AUT) gewann den Pokal als Gesamtsieger in der Grom Boys Kategorie, während Leonardo Cerato (AUT) die Trophäe als bester Overall Super Grom mit nach Hause nehmen durfte. Mit dem dritten Tourstop wird es spannend im Overall Välley Rälley Ranking. 3. Tourstop Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen / Hippach im Zillertal and Super Grom Tour Tyrol Finals
Not only the winners of the day carried home lots of medals, appreciation and mad-prizes from the third Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride tourstop at the Vans Penken Park. Also the overall winners of the Super Grom Tour Tyrol 2016 got crowned and honored on February 20th and 21st in Mayrhofen, Hippach in the Zillertal. All 100 riders took it with challenging conditions, flat lights and winds that weekend. Nevertheless, the riding level was incredible and riders were pushing the limits once again in the open slopestyle contest, not least because the park shapers were permanently maintaining the course to keep it in perfect shape. The Vans Penken Park welcomed its guests for the 3rd Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards tourstop with a perfectly shaped XXL setup. On the Coaching Day, the Ästhetiker crew members Steve Gruber, Chris Kroell, Friedl Kolar and Klaus Hofmeister took advantage of the entire park setup to train with up-and-coming talents on the jump and jib lines. In the meantime, riders were already warming up for the next day´s competition on the pro and advanced line.
On Sunday, 85 competitors showed up to compete on all different lines in the open slopestyle contest. Top riders from all over Europe pushed the limits througout all categories battling it out on hightest level. No surprise, the stakes were high. Winners could look forward to medals and prize money, mad-prizes and valuable points in the World Snowboard Tour Ranking and Välley Rälley Overall Tour Ranking.

Austrian young gun Finally Nico Winkler got rewarded most impressive Grom of the day by the Ästhetiker Judges.
The 3rd Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride tourstop in Mayrhofen was also a part of the AustriaCups and the Final event of the Super Grom Tour Tyrol 2016, organized by the N.ASA. As the best overall grom girl Emma Lantos (AUT) got rewarded with the first place.
