First class contest, new beats and fresh powder for the 2nd stage at Zillertal Arena
With international riders and a great load of fresh snow, the 2nd stage of the Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards took over the Zillertal Arena on January 20th and 21st, 2018. While the Actionpark Kreuzwiese showed off with a great setup for Austria´s most popular Snowboard Amateur Series on the Contest Day, all participants of the Coaching Day were delighted to swap park laps for powder runs after a great overnight load of fresh snow in the Zillertal Arena. Local band´s lead singer Klaus Frankhauser from Sempre Caoz joined the action with his guitar for some unique gondola sessions, presenting his brand-new Välley Rälley song. After the forecast had predicted a great load of fresh snow for the 2nd stage of the Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards, the Ästhetiker decided to hold the contest on Saturday. This turned out to be a good decision. Despite their busy contest schedules, more than seventy riders showed up for the contest and the startlist counted some big names of the European rookie elite. Strong teams were raising the bar once again at Zillertal Arena.
It was Bulgarian styler Simeon Mitrev, who took victory in the men´s contest with great style. Marino Kristjansson from Team Iceland won the Billabong Best Trick Award with a stylisch „BS Tailslide 450 out.“ His team buddy Baldur Vilhelmsson claimed the gold medal in the Rookie Boys category. Once again, british super talent Gabe appeared unbeatable, defending his top spot on the Gom Boys podium. Lenny Fenning, also from Team Great Britain, was happy to finally score his first ever win in the Super Grom Boys class. In the Ladies contest, Nici John from Germany climbed the podium in first place, while Luca-Mai Lane Hopkins (GBR) became Rookie Girls winner and Marie Kreisingerova (CZE) was happy about her first place in the Grom Girls category. Amber Fennell from Team GBR finally earned herself another gold medal in the Super Grom Girls class and got rewarded „Most impressive Grom of the dÄy“ coming along with a lot of fame, glory and prize money.
As predicted, the weatherman delivered a great load of white gold in the night to Sunday. With pleasure, the coaching participants swapped park laps for powder runs all across the Zillertal Arena.
As special guest, Klaus Fankhauser, lead singer from the local band Sempre Caoz, joined the crew on Sunday and presented his brand-new Välley Rälley song „Living Sideways“ in a first-class gondola session.
Heike Schoof from Marketing Zillertal Arena is delighted about the outcome: „ The annual Zillertal Välley Rälley is always a pleasure for us! Despite challenging weather conditions, we look back at another well-organised weekend with a great number of happy participants.“
With the results from the second out of four tourstops, the Välley Rälley overall rankings will change again and every single point counts fort he overall win. All Välley Rälley events further count as N.ASA (New Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacups and for every participation, riders collect valuable points in the World Snowboard Tour Ranking. Während sich der Actionpark Kreuzwiese am Contest Tag der beliebtesten Snowboard Amateur Serie Österreichs mit einem perfekten Setup präsentierte, freuten sich die Teilnehmer am Coaching Tag über jede Menge Neuschnee. Nachdem das Wetterradar zum 2. Tourstop der Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards jede Menge Neuschnee in der Nacht von Samstag auf Sonntag anzeigte, entschieden die Ästhetiker, den Contest bereits am Samstag durchzuführen. Gute Entscheidung, denn trotz eng getaktetem Terminkalender erschienen über siebzig Snowboarder zur Välley Rälley in die Zillertal Arena. Internationale Fahrer und starke Teams schraubten die Messlatte wieder einmal nach oben.
Schließlich war es Simeon Mitrev aus Bulgarien, der bei den Männern wohlverdient auf dem 1. Platz landete. Der Isländer Marino Kristjansson räumte mit einem stylischen „BS Tailslide 450 out“ den Billabong Best Trick Award ab, während sein Teamkollege Baldur Vilhelmsson, die Goldmedaille bei den Rookie Boys gewann. Gabe Adams von Team GBR holte sich wieder einmal den 1. Platz bei den Grom Boys, während Team Kollege Lenny Fenning mit großer Freude bei den Super Grom Boys seinen ersten Sieg feierte. Bei den Ladies war es Nici John aus Deutschland, die das oberste Treppchen bestieg. Luca-Mai Lane Hopkins (GBR) war die Rookie-Girls Siegerin, während sich Marie Kreisingerova (CZE) über den ersten Platz bei den Grom Girls freute. Als unangefochtene Siegerin der Super Grom Girls Kategorie nahm Amber Fennell (GBR) wieder einmal nicht nur Goldmedaille entgegen. Die junge Shredderin aus England räumte auch den Award des „Most impressive Grom of the dÄy“ inklusive Preisgeld, Ruhm und Ehre ab.
Wie angekündigt, lieferte Frau Holle in der Nacht auf Sonntag jede Menge Neuschnee. Mit Freude tauschten die Coaching Teilnehmer am Sonntag den Park gegen Tiefschneeruns auf und neben der Piste ein. Gemeinsam mit den Ästhetiker Coaches wurden sämtliche Hänge der Zillertal Arena zer-shredded. Als Special Guest war
Klaus Fankhauser von der Local Band Sempre Caoz mit von der Partie und lieferte den Anwesenden eine erstklassige Gondel Session mit seinem brandneuen Välley Rälley Song „Living Sideways.“

2nd stage at Actionpark Kreuzwiese, Zillertal Arena : 20.-21. January 2018
Here we go! On to the next Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards event at Zillertal Arena! On January 20th and 21st, the Actionpark Kreuzwiese in Zell am Ziller will stage the second tourstop of Austria´s most popular Snowboard Amateur Series. The registration for freebie freestyle coachings and open slopestyle contest is open at www.valleyralley.at.
It´s gonna get exciting! The start list of the second Zillertal Välley Rälley tour stop already counts some of Europe´s well-known up-and-coming talents. Spectators can look forward to witness a first-class snowboarding show at the Actionpark Kreuzwiese on the Zell side of Zillertal Arena in the Zillertal, Austria.
On the Coaching Day, riders from all the different national teams will be practising in the park for the contest. All those, who won´t bring their own coach or who are not keen to compete, can sign up for freebie freestyle coaching sessions with the Ästhetiker crew. Ride Snowboards will showcase the latest snowboards and bindings right at the park for free demo/testing. The most flexible shredders under the LIMBO RIDE bar will be will finally be rewarded with tons of goodies by Ride.
On the contest day, the best trick on the slopestyle course will be awarded Billabong Best Trick with a full outerware combo by Billabong., All day podium winners throughout all contest categories will be further be honored with medals, prize money and prizes At Zilleral Arena, every rider will be collecting valuable points in the Välley Rälley Overall tour ranking and official World Snowboard Tour Ranking.
The overall winners of all categories will finally be crowned new Royal Zillertal Välley Rälley Family 2018 at the last event at Hintertux. The tourstop will further count as N.ASA (New Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacup. Even though the coaching is planned for Saturday and contest for Sunday, the Ästhetiker might swap the days due to weather conditions.

Perfect tour kick-off at Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach: 16.-17. Dezember 2017
With amazing conditions, the 5th Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards Europe 2017/2018 kicked off on December 16th and 17th at Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach. Snowboarders from all over Europe joined the first event of Austria´s most popular snowboard amateur series at Betterpark Hochzillertal. The Välley Rälley came along with a dozen medals, prize money and goodies, a great load of fresh snow, powder runs, a bonfire and Brian Wolfe´s new Välley Rälley song. What a tour start! Seems like Mother Hulda and the weather god had an agreement for the Välley Rälley. Just in time for the contest dÄy, the Betterpark Hochzillertal welcomed all riders with a perfectly shaped setup and bluebird. Competitors of all categories threw down their best tricks to impress the judges and rake in medals, prize money, goodies and valuable points in the World Snowboard Tour Ranking.
At the end of the day, it was Leon Vockensperger from Germany, who finally hit the jackpot. With his stylish fs10 tailgrab, he did not only claim 1st place in the men´s contest, he also took home the Billabong Best Trick Award and a complete Billabong outfit. Leon´s Snowboard Germany team buddy Moritz Breu got honored „most impressive grom of the dÄy“ by the Ästhetiker judges, while Katarzyna Rusin from Poland won the ladies gold medal. In the rookie category, Annika Morgan and Leon Guetl, both from Germany, took the top spots on the podium. Belgian talent Evy Poppe dominated the grom girls starter field, while English ripper Gabe Adams took the gold medal in the the grom boys class. With Amber Fennell and Charlie Lane, two English up-and-coming talents dominated the super groms girls and boys categories.
Fresh snow came along with big smiles on the Coaching Day. Together with Ästhetiker coaches Steve Gruber, Friedl Kolar and Chris Kroell, the coaching groups took it with side hits and powder runs all across Hochzillertal. The best limbos and ollies got rewarded by Ride Snowboards during the LIMBO RIDE fun session. With a bonfire, marshmallows and Brian Wolfe´s new Välley Rälley song performend on his guitar, the perfect Välley Rälley tour start 2017/2018 goes down in history.
Martha Schultz from the Schultz Group and Marketing Director of Hochzillertal Kaltenbach is delighted about another sucessfull outcome of the event: „Big Thanks to the Ästhetiker team, they are professionals at work! We are delighted that the event took place with perfect conditions! The vibe was already magnificent at the registration in the office! Austria needs more events like that, it is all about sharing the passion for a great sport!“

Was für ein Tour Auftakt! Es schien, als hätte sich Frau Holle mit dem Wettergott abgesprochen, denn rechtzeitig zum Contest Tag erstrahlte der Betterpark Hochzillertal am Samstag mit einem perfekten Setup in der Sonne. Im Slopestyle Contest griffen Snowboarder sämtlicher Altersklassen tief in ihre Trickkiste, um die Judges zu beeindrucken und neben Medaillen, Preisgeld und Sachpreisen auch wertvolle Punkte im World Snowboard Tour Ranking zu gewinnen.
Absoluter Tagessieger war Leon Vockensperger aus Deutschland, der nicht nur bei den Männern den 1. Platz belegte, sondern für seinen stylischen fs10 tailgrab den Billabong Best Trick Award und ein komplettes Billabong Outfit abräumte. Snowboard Germany Teamkollege Moritz Breu freute sich über die Auszeichnung als „most impressive Grom of the dÄy.“ Bei den Ladies gewann Katarzyna Rusin aus Polen die Goldmedaille. In der Rookie Katergorie schafften es Annika Morgan und Leon Gütl, beide vom Team Germany, jeweils unangefochten auf den 1. Platz. Evy Poppe aus Belgien dominierte das Grom Girls Podium, während sich der Engländer Gabe Adams in der Grom Boys Klasse als unschlagbar erwies. Auch bei den Super Groms standen mit Amber Fennell und Charlie Lane zwei Engländer ganz oben auf dem Treppchen.
Frischer Neuschnee zauberte den Coaching Teilnehmern am Sonntag ein breites Grinsen ins Gesicht und gemeinsam mit den Ästhetiker Coaches Steve Gruber, Friedl Kolar und Chris Kröll wurden sämtliche Sidehits und Powder Runs im Hochzillertal unsicher gemacht. Beim Limbo Ride verteilte Ride Snowboards schließlich die letzten Geschenke. Zum krönenden Abschluss gab es Lagerfeuer, Marshmallows und den brandneuen Välley Rälley Song von Brian Wolfe.

Once across the Zillertal, please! For the fourth time in a row, the Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards took over the best snowparks of the Zillertal Valley between October 2016 and March 2017.
Four tour stages, four exciting snowboard competitions, freebie coaching sessions and demo/testing of the latest snowboards, tons of prizes, many happy day podium winners and a delighted new royal family, followed by a great bunch of enthusiastic snowboard fans – that´s, what the Zillertal Välley Rälley is all about! In 2016/2017, Ride Snowboards scored with the Limbo Ride and Highest Ollie fun contest and the new tour partner Billabong brought up fresh highlights with free avalanche trainings for everyone.
The number of riders beat all previous years´ records and for the first time in Välley Rälley history, parents, coaches and friends could show off at the final tourstop by joining the Mayrhofen Penken Fun Ride Battle presented by Billabong, while the probably youngest tour attendees ever tried their first freestyle moves in the mini-shred coaching. The new Zillertal Välley Rälley Royal Family 2017 got crowned and celebrated in old Ästhetiker manner at the Scotland Yard Pub.

Die neue Zillertal Välley Rälley Königsfamilie 2017 wurde in alter Ästhetiker Manier gebührend im Scotland Yard Pub gefeiert!

Crowning of the Royal Family and many happy faces at the tour finals in Mayrhofen
With bluebird and spring temperatures, the Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards celebrated its finals on March 11th and 12th at the Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen. The last stage of the popular Snowboard Amateur Series kicked-off with the Contest Day on Saturday. Snowboarders of all age groups were not only battling for attractive spots on the day podium, but also trying to rake in last points for the overall tour ranking. After four out of four events, the new royal Zillertal Välley Rälley family was finally crowned in Mayrhofen. After the contest, the kings and queens 2016/2016 were honored and celebrated at the FinÄl Crowning Party at Scotland Yard Pub. Sunday was fun day! Some of the youngest local up-and-coming talents were getting involved in the coaching sessions with the Ästhetiker and the very 1st Penken Fun RIDE Battle presented by Billabong went down with more than fifty competitors on the new Fun Ride Slope at the Penken Park, while not only the top podium spots got rewarded with nice prizes by Billabong. To wrap up an amazing final weekend, everyone tweaked it under the bar at the Limbo RIDE to take home even more prizes from Ride Snowboards. What a final! Just in time for the last Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards tourstop, the Vans Penken Park Mayrhofen came up with a gigantic setup of eight different lines and the new Penken Fun Ride course. On Saturday, snowboarders of all age groups took it with the creative slopestyle setup. Beside the day podiums, medals and prizes, the Overall Välley Rälley victory and all titles of the Queens and Kings of the Välley 2017 were up for grabs at the final tourstop in Mayrhofen.
It was Joscha Storz from Germany, who claimed the Billabong Best Trick award with his creative backflip shifty shifty. Marie Kreisingerova from Czech Republic got entitled “most impressive grom of the day.” In the super groms category, 10-year-old Amber Fennell and 11-year-old Lewis Hopkinson, both from Great Britain, took first place. Evy Poppe from Belgium and Gabe Adams from Great Britain both climbed the top of the groms podiums. With these results, all four groms and super groms day winners took over the lead in the overall tour ranking and finally got crowned the new Kings and Queens of the Välley 2017 in their categories. Amber Conrdingley and Billy Cockrell, both from Great Britain, won the rookie competition, but their overall results could not quite cut the actual throne claimants points. In the end it was Emma Lantos (AUT) sharing the rookie girls crown with Adela Kreisingerova (CZE) with equal points. Previous year´s winner Jan Rovensky (CZE) managed to defend his title as the one and only King of the Välley in the rookie boys class. All overall rookie winners earned themselves a wildcard for the World Rookie Finals 2017 in Kaprun.
In the women´s contest, Anna Lora from Austria won the gold medal. Czech ripper Tereza Sebkova took home the bronze medal and takes the reins as the new Queen of the Välley 2017.
Englishman Simon Cudlip put down an convincing run and managed to win the men´s competition. But in the end Austrian team coach Felix Widnig dominated the overall ranking and got crowned King of the Välley 2017 in the men´s class.
Sunday´s Penken Fun Ride Battle by Billabong was about the fastest runs on the Penken Fun Ride course. Czech boardercross champ Dan Kaspar scored the best time of the day and won the men´s challenge with unbeatable 41.58 seconds.
The Belgian women could not be beaten in any way. Evy Poppe took the top spot in the grom girls category and Djoelie Ectors raced to first place in the women´s class. Dutch young gun Dan Mansiwa finally won the grom boys race.
Once again, the Välley Rälley found a graceful finish with many happy faces. Mario Toelderer from Mayrhofner Bergbahnen Marketing & Events was delighted about the successful event: „Super motivated riders, a magnificient event crew and a perfectly shaped Penken Park, bluebird and great vibes all over the place, all this made the Välley Rälley finals a perfect weekend on the mountain. You could feel the snowboarding spirit at every single tourstop and I am already looking forward to next season´s Välley Rälley comeback!“

Krönung der Königsfamilie und viele glückliche Gesichter beim Tourfinale in Mayrhofen
Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und frühlingshaften Temperaturen feierte die Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards am 11. und 12. März ihr großes Finale im Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen. Beim letzten Contest der beliebten Snowboard Amateur Serie ging es am Samstag nicht nur ums Tagespodium, sondern vor allem auch um den heiß begehrten Gesamttoursieg. Nach vier von vier Events wurden die Overall Winner
zur neuen Zillertal Välley Rälley Königsfamilie gekrönt. Der Hofstaat feierte seine neuen Kings und Queens 2017 anschließend gebührend bei der FinÄl Crowning Party im Scotland Yard Pub in Mayrhofen. Am Sonntag fand die Zillertal Välley Rälley ihren Ausklang mit den Ästhetiker Coaching Sessions für jung und jünger im Vans Penken Park. Über fünfzig Starter gingen anschließend bei dem Penken Fun Ride Battle auf der neuen Fun Ride Strecke an den Start. Billabong bescherte nicht nur den Top Platzierten jede Menge Preise. Zum Abschluss des Tages honorierte Ride Snowboards die beste Akrobatik beim Limbo RIDE mit vielen Sachpreisen. Was für ein Tourabschluss! Zum großen Välley Rälley Finale erstrahlte der Vans Penken Park mit einem gigantischen Setup auf acht verschiedenen Lines. Am Samstag kämpften die Teilnehmer sämtlicher Altersklassen im Slopestyle Contest nicht nur um den Tagessieg, sondern auch um die Overall Välley Rälley Führung und somit jede Menge Ruhm, Ehre und den Titel als Kings und Queens of the Välley 2017!
Joscha Storz aus Deutschland begeisterte nicht nur die Judges mit einem kreativen Backflip shifty shifty und sahnte damit den Billabong Best Trick Award ab, während Marie Kreisingerova (CZE) von den Ästhetikern den Award als „most impressive Grom“ des Tages überreicht bekam. Bei den Super Groms holten sich die 10-jährige Amber Fennell und der 11-jährige Lewis Hopkinson, beide vom Team GBR, jeweils die Goldmedaille. Evy Poppe aus Belgien und Gabe Adams vom Team GBR kletterten bei den Groms ganz oben aufs Podium. Mit diesen Erfolgen übernahmen alle vier Tagessieger auch jeweils die Führung im Gesamttourranking ihrer jeweiligen Kategorien und wurden nach dem Contest zu den neuen Kings und Queens of the Välley gekrönt. Bei den Rookies gewannen Amber Cordingley und Billy Cockrell, beide vom Team GBR den Tageswettbewerb. Die Gesamtpunktezahl reichte aber nicht, um die jeweiligen Thronanwärter zu verjagen. So teilen sich schließlich Emma Lantos (AUT) und Adela Kreisingerova (CZE) den Titel als Queens of the Välley bei den Rookie Girls. Vorjahres-Overall Sieger Jan Rovensky (CZE) ist und bleibt unangefochtener King of the Välley in der Rookie Boys Klasse. Alle Rookie Overall Sieger qualifizieren sich für die World Rookie Finals 2017 in Kaprun.
Bei den Frauen gewann Anna Lora aus Österreich den Tageswettbewerb. Die Tschechin Tereza Sebkova nimmt als Drittplatzierte des Tages anschließend das Zepter als neue Queen of the Välley 2017 in die Hand. Der Engländer Simon Cudlip freut sich sichtlich über seinen erfolgreichen Run, mit dem er sich den 1. Platz im Contest der Männer verdient. Der Österreichische Team Coach Felix Widnig wird mit seinem Ergebnis jedoch als Dritter im
Tageswettbewerb und bester im Gesamttourranking zum King of the Välley bei den Herren gekrönt.
Beim Penken Fun Ride Battle by Billabong ging es dann am Sonntag um die beste Zeit. Als Boardercross Ass lieferte der Tscheche Dan Kaspar mit 41.58 Sekunden den schnellsten Run bei den Männern. Bei den Mädels waren die Belgierinnen nicht zu schlagen. So fuhren Evy Poppe (Grom Girls) und Djoelie Ectors (Frauen) jeweils auf den ersten Platz. Dan Mansiwa aus den Niederlanden gewann schließlich in der Grom Boys Kategorie.
Viele glückliche Gesichter waren zum großen Tourfinale 2017 in Mayrhofen an der Tagesordnung und die Välley Rälley hat wieder einmal einen würdigen Abschluss gefunden. Mario Tölderer, Marketing & Events Mayrhofner Bergbahnen freut sich über den gelungenen Event: „Super motivierte Teilnehmer, eine großartige Eventcrew, top geshapter Penken Park, Bluebird und jede Menge gute Stimmung haben das Välley Rälley Finale in Mayrhofen zu einem perfekten Wochenende am Berg gemacht. Man fühlt den Snowboardspirit bei jedem einzelnen Tourstop und ich freue mich bereits aufs nächste Jahr, wenn es wieder heißt VÄLLEY RÄLLEY IS ON!“
